This is the kind of church we will be if the progressives/modernist Catholics don’t cease and dissist their disgusting revolt against our heritage…
The same thing will happen when the UN takes over the world because the US was to stupid to bail out of that sick, psychotic excuse for an organization.

themaninthesynagogue.org/

I understand that everyone NEEDS Jesus, and the people at this synagogue or whatever may really be good people…but we Catholics have no one to blame but ourselves for all the deceptions out there…we have not been doing our job…
…and what can we do now, but pray for our beloved church, and the conversion of sinners and what is wrong…and if you are knowledgeable…the preach it brotha!!! See a heresy, then call them out on it, and give them the truth…There is only one God Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (the Blessed Trinity) and only ONE faith started by Jesus Himself…THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!!!

Knock it off with the UN bs. Please !!!

You are right about the modernists and the video shows a church deprived of beauty, martyrs, and vertical worship. Golly, sure reminds me of something ???

flick427,

I can appreciate where it isn’t particularly your style, and Bernini it certainly isn’t, but there’s a big “Jesus is Lord” sign on one end and it does have its own sparse beauty. What specifically do you find wrong with it?

I think the “progressive/modernist” Catholics are forgetting this is not a democracy! The Roman Catholic Faith is a monarchy with Jesus/God/Holy Spirit as the King. The Pope is acting on his (the Trinity’s) behalf until his return. This is why the church does not budge and will never budge on doctrinal issues like birth control. It may change some disciple items such as celebacy, but not likely!

As for the misconceptions of our Protestant brothers and sisters, remeber Jesus said that even the gates of hell will not prevail against his church. He did not say they wouldn’t try! Satan and his fallen angels are always looking for a way to discredit or turn people away from the truth. I am always trying to get people to search for the truth, the problem is that some people can or will not accept the truth. Prayer and fasting for their eyes to be opened is the best we can do. Only the Holy Spirit can bring about conversion, we can only plant the seeds.

Uh, the UN promotes abortion and contraception. They refuse to recognize Christianity. It is a big secularist mess. How is that “bs”?

Umm…No.

They are getting what they deserve. It is a corrupt, anti-religious organization that needs to be taken down.

Wander,

I’d like to invite you to wander aimlessly over to Liberia, where the United Nations is keeping the peace. Certainly the UN has a lot of problems, but there is quite a bit of good mixed in with the bad. The United Nations Mission In Liberia (UNMIL) has saved tens of thousands of lives in the past year by stopping the bloodshed there.

This is a serious invitation, although at the moment I can’t pay for the trip. If you’re interested, PM me; I can set you up with a Liberian family to stay with and show you around. Just one factoid for your consideration: I estimate that the bridge from Bushrod Island into Monrovia has an average of one bullet mark every four square inches on its surface.

“In order to stabilize world population, it is necessary to eliminate 350,000 people a day. It is a horrible thing to say, but it’s just as bad not to say it.”

- Oceanographer Jaques Cousteau
*Published in the Courier, a publication of *
*the United Nations Educational, Scientific *
and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

“A government … should not hide behind the defense of sovereignty… Our position is to support reproductive choice, including access to safe abortion.”
- Timothy Wirth, former U.S. Senator, State Department Undersecretary, and current head of the United Nations Foundation

“Most of [Ted Turner’s first donation to the United Nations Foundation of] $22 million went to programs that seek to stall population growth…”

-The Baltimore Sun, July 7, 1998

“Reproductive health care in the context of primary health care should … include … abortion…”

-Report of the United Nations International Conference on Population and Development, Cairo, 1994

“People who abhor the China one-child poicy are dumb-dumbs…”

-Ted Turner

Are you concerned that the United Nations…
…intends to have government control child-bearing?

A report issued by the United Nation’s Cairo Conference on Population and Development announced plans to regulate the most intimate of family matters: “The promotion of the responsible exercise of these rights [marriage and child-bearing] for all people should be the basis for government … supported policies and programmes in the area of reproductive health, including family planning.”

**Are you concerned that the United Nations…

…is a partner in China’s forced abortions program?**

China’s “one-child” policy – which features compulsory abortion, sterilization, and female infanticide – has been generously underwritten by the UN Population Fund and the UN’s World Bank, along with the International Planned Parenthood Federation, and tax-exempt foundations like the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations. In 1983, the United Nations Fund for Population Activities gave an award to Communist China’s Qian Xinzhong for having “implemented population policies on a massive scale.” The Chicago Tribune reported that as a result of government policy: “Thirty-eight percent of Chinese women of child-bearing age have been sterilized.”

**Are you concerned that the United Nations…

**…is propped up by pro-abortion elitists?

The UN has a powerful network of pro-abortion allies who promote its objectives and pay its bills. Public personalities such as Hollywood’s Jane Fonda, Linda Gray, and pop singer “Singer Spice” have donated time and talent to the UN. And insiders of America’s business and financial community are solidly behind UN population control programs. A UN Population Fund press statement acknowledged: “Besides [Bill] Gates and [Ted] Turner … the Rockefeller, MacArthur and Hewlett-Packard foundations had all been very engaged in population [matters] and had made contributions to domestic as well as international prorammes.”

**Are you concerned that the United Nations…

**…plays a major role in the abortion industry?

UNICEF, the World Bank, the UN Development Program, the World Health Organization, and the UN Populations Fund (UNFPA) promote and fund abortions worldwide. The UNFPA, for instance, sent to Balkan refugee camps “Emergency Reproductive Health Kits” that contained abortifacient pills, intrauterine devices, and even a suction apparatus called a “manual vacuum aspirator.” What a misleading term to describe a devices that sucks a tiny baby out of the mother’s womb! Other elements of the global abortion network, working hand-in-glove with the UN, include the International Planned Parenthood Federation, the Population Council, and International Projects Assistance Services.

“Our message desires, above all, to be a solemn, moral ratification of this high Institution. This message is born from our historical experience. It is as a ‘specialist in humanity’ that we bring to this Organization the approval of our predecessors, the whole Catholic Episcopate and our own, convinced as we are that this Organization represents the obligatory pathway for modern civilization and world peace.” *Messaggio di Paolo VI all’ Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite, in La visita di Paolo VI alle Nazioni Unite *(Vatican: Libreria Editrice, 1966), p. 59.

Initial greeting of the Secretary General Dr. Kurt Waldheim, the Pope stated: "Your organization has a special significance for the world, because the thoughts and hopes of all the peoples of our planet converge in it."
They can experience in the United Nations the fact that there is only one world, and that the UN is the home of everyone."

John Paul II, Greeting to the General Assembly of the UN, October 2, 1979, Insegnamenti di Giovanni Paolo II, 1979, vol. 2, p. 520-1.
** “The Apostolic See not only bears strongly in mind its own collaboration with the UN, but since the birth of the Organization, it has always expressed its real esteem for and concurrence with the historical significance of this supreme forum for the international life of contemporary humanity …. Popes John XXIII and Paul VI had confidence in this important institution as an eloquent and promising sign of our times. And the one who speaks to you now, since the first months of his own pontificate, has often expressed the same confidence and conviction nurtured by my predecessors.” **[4] 4. John Paul II, Speech delivered to the UN General Assembly on October 2, 1979, ibid. p. 523.
**“My words, which I desire to be a sign of the esteem and regard of the Apostolic See for this Institution, joins willingly with the voice of all who see in the UN the hope for a better future for the society of men.” **

"The Holy See, because of its specifically spiritual mission that makes it solicitous for the integral good of every human being, **has been from the beginning a convinced upholder of the ideas and objectives of the United Nations ** "
"It is necessary that the United Nations Organization continue to go beyond the cold training stage of administrative institution to become the moral center, in which all the nations of the world feel themselves at home, developing the common conscience of beings, that is to say, a ‘family of nations.’“Organization.

Speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations of October 5, 1995, published under the title “Nella sede dell’Organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite, che celebra il 50 anni di fondazione, il Papa consegna all’umanità un messaggio di portata storica,” L’Osservatore Romano, October 6, 1995, p. 6, n. 1.

When has a past Pontiff criticized the UN as posted here? On the contrary, they have supported it with praise and encouragement. Never mentioning the agenda of abortion and contraception for world population demise.

What do they see that others are missing? Or are these Pontiffs on the same wave length as the UN?

Included in Pope’s Vision for Reform of United Nations is Pro-Life/Family Reform

VATICAN, February 11, 2004 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a meeting with the president of the 58th General Assembly of the United Nations on Saturday, Pope John Paul II stressed that reform of the United Nations is “'a clear moral and political obligation which calls for prudence and determination and a necessary prerequisite for the growth of an international order at the service of the whole human family.”

Media coverage of the meeting has tended to focus on the fact that the Pope considers the United Nations “a significant means for promoting the universal common good.” However, understanding the Pope’s aspirations for the United Nations and its efforts to work toward world peace is contingent on comprehending John Paul’s vision of peace.

The Pope subscribes to the same view of peace as espoused by Mother Teresa. In 1994 Mother Teresa spoke to assembled US politicians saying: “But I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child - a direct killing of the innocent child - murder by the mother herself.” Pope John Paul II, who chose the October 19, 2003 25th anniversary of his pontificate to declare Mother Teresa “blessed”, echoed Mother Teresa in May 2003 saying, “there can be no authentic peace without respect for life, especially for the innocent and defenseless, as are unborn children. Basic coherence requires that those who seek peace defend life. No action for peace can be effective if attacks on life at every stage are not opposed with the same effort.”

The reform, the Pope said to Assembly President Julian Robert Hunte “will not only ensure an effective superior instance for the just resolution of international problems, but also enable the United Nations to become an ever more highly respected moral authority for the international community.”

The United Nations, through its various committees and countless non-governmental organizations has been at the forefront of advocating international acceptance of homosexuality and the bestowing of rights normally reserved for the family on homosexual unions. The Catholic Church has been a formidable obstacle in fulfilling that agenda. While UN leader Kofi Annan has come out in favour of homosexual ‘marriage’, the Pope during his February 20, 1994 Angelus address said, “The bond between two men or two women cannot constitute a real family and much less can the right be attributed to that union to adopt children without a family”.
