A lot of people do not think Smith is a prophet from god

Joseph Smith, founder of the LDS church. He was certainly a prophet, but not a true prophet. Look at NT scripture. It speaks of false prophets, false christs and antichrists. After our Lord, there is not one true prophet mentioned as yet to come. The prophets, and God used plenty of them, point to our Lord Jesus.

There is no mention of other gods, other worlds, a “great apostasy”, a second overseas exodus, stalactites, stalagmites, or any other civilizations in the new world. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck…
