If you want the answer from a Catholic perspective, it’s because everyone who is in Heaven who can intercede is Catholic. Not that there aren’t people who were Protestant on earth in Heaven; but once there, they must be Catholic.

Protestants are much less likely to pray for a miracle, or to ask Mary and the Saints to pray for them, so they are unlikely to get miracles.

God Bless
This has to be the most ridiculous statement. Protestants are much less likely to pray for miracles

I’ve prayed for and witnessed miracles along with many other non-Catholic Christians. Guess you didn’t know that since you made such a broad statement 🤷

And she’s wrong so much of the time.
I don’t think so…just because you ALWAYS disagree with everything I say, even when presented with evidence or the truth, I guess you are ALWAYS looking for a fight.
And you are 100% right. There are no miracles from God in any other denomination except within the Catholic church. Everything else is false or fake. Including Benny Hinn and all the others who claim their fame through Jesus Christ.

Miracles do happen for whomever God pleases to grant such a miracle.

And praying for a healing for a loved one, or praying to be able to have a child are just two examples of miracles that people of all faiths pray for. When those prayers are answered with a miracle, it may not always make the news because people outside the family aren’t necessarily made aware of it (as someone else mentioned earlier in this thread). But they do happen. There’s such a story in my Protestant family.

It really is heartwarming to hear of miracles and be reminded of our deep faith and awe in God’s power, and of His love for us!

So let me get this straight - there are no miracles performed by God except in a Catholic Church? So when a Protestant is miraculously healed from a medical condition - who does the miracle? The devil?

Are you thinking (in part) of St. John Neumann 🙂 ? Cardinal Newman was never a bishop.

The Redemptorist Saint in the USA :
The Venerable Oratorian in the UK:
Same century, similar names, but otherwise very different. 🙂

As for the question: Catholics make a great deal of such things - Protestants don’t.
Thanks, I was just going to point that out. There is a St.John Neuman church in San Antonio. I remember driving past it and my dad mentioning Cardinal Newman.I told him it wasn’t the same Newman,as the last names are not spelled the same, and that St.John Neuman, was Bishop of Philadelphia, and was I believe Bohemian.

Growing up Methodist I was taught that our ancestors were in heaven. I was also taught that we should pray with each other. However, I was never taught about praying and asking a deceased person to pray for me. Such a thing, it seems to me, prevents the possibilities of miracles due to the intervention of said dead person as I never was taught to ask them.

If you are talking about people like Benny Hinn, or worse, any one of those wolves in sheep’s clothing, That’s right. They are false period.

I don’t recall saying anything about Benny Hinn or any other televangelist.

Any miracle happening to a Protestant is false? God only does miracles with Catholics?

Enjoy your little world, OTCA. There’s no room for anyone else in it. Good grief!

Christ is risen!

And Heaven forbid if OTCA ever hears about the Holy Fire or myrrh-streaming icons in the Orthodox Church! How awful!😛 I think it’s ridiculous when anyone makes claims like what OTCA tends to make at times. No one can control the hand of God by saying where He allows His grace to go. I don’t care who you are.

In Christ,
Andrew
