Don’t leave this scene on the cutting room floor:

Narrated Sahl: That he was asked about the wound of the Prophet on the day (of the battle) of Uhud. He said, “The face of the Prophet as wounded and one of his front teeth as broken and the helmet over his head was smashed. Fatima washed of the blood while Ali held water. When she saw that bleeding was increasing continuously, she burnt a mat (of date-palm leaves) till it turned into ashes which she put over the wound and thus the bleeding ceased.” (Book #52, Hadith #159)~Bukhari

Could be why Mohammed doesn’t like pictures of himself.
Oh! you found the hadith! Thanks.

Yeah, I thought I read somewhere where mohammed got some battle scars.

One of my favorite authors has written an article on ‘mohammeds vulgar face’. Now, this is an article going into the nature of mohammed - the ugliness. But, I think that ugliness should be shown on his face as he ages. The inside of the man coming out on his outside. Sort of a story like ‘The Picture of Dorian Grey’ story only there would be no painting - there is only mohammed to bear the ugliness that is growing inside him.

Please can someone tell me why any sane person would convert or even want to be part of that evil cult! It is sick sick sick.
Ask sister amy.

My guess is that the weak in the heart and mind convert. They are willing to be brainwashed and are looking for something that is missing in their lives. And islam is there to fill that hole.

How else could they not see what islam has done to so many, what it is!?! They are ignorant of the current news (not hard to do if they are only listening to the left wing medias), they are ignorant of history (not hard to do in our current school system and their teaching of history, bashing Christianity and glowing over islam), and they are ignorant of their own backgrounds which also is not hard to be since we have a school system bent on demeaning our own Western cultures and thinking other cultures are better even though they might have the worst human rights abuses on this globe!

Now, we have the MSA in our colleges practicing taqiyya/kithman. We have muslim organizations making sure the kid’s history books have fairy tales about islam in them. And we have a school system ok with letting kids ‘pray/dress like a muslim’ and bringing back segregation for muslim’s wishes. If we did that can you imagine the outcry from blacks and muslims?!? They are bringing it back under the disguise of modesty and segregation is a separation due to one group being above the other. And muslims are told we are dirty (apes, pigs and feces) and even their own women are dirty.

So, we have a whole bunch of left wing idiots helping islam along. They used to march for woman’s rights and now cater to a system that is abyssmal in regards to woman, or any non-muslim.

This is how the kids are converting.

And there is converting going on in the jails, and also in the black community.

This shows the lack of our school systems AND parents in teaching history. Most blacks don’t even know that islam still has slavery, they were heavily involved in the slave trade when we practiced it and they, the Black muslims, still go on about our slavery years while the slave trade is still going on in islam! maybe I will start a new thread about that. It is just terrible the hypocracy in islam.

True. I find it sad that they have such a rigid fear of questioning it. Maybe Mo realised people would see the lies if they did.

I saw this link and it is all predicted in the Bible revelado.org/islam.htm

Did you miss the most important part - when Khadija told him he was a prophet?

It would be impossible to make a movie on mohammed that is the truth and not have it banned as a pornographic movie.
**chrisse, who told Mary that her son was marvellous something?. When the magis told and the shepherds too, the mother and actual father of Jesus were surprised, were wondering what the magis were telling them. It was as if the parents did not know anything about the great status of new born Jesus.

Khadijah referred the matter to some one and supported her husband by saying that Allah would never let him down because he was such a good person. that is all she said.

But look at Mary and Joseph the carpentar, the namesake husband of Mary. They did not know anything about the status of Jesus and some people who had (supposedly) seen some star, they were telling M<ary and Jospeh. How strange? It appers that it was all made up story.

The role of Joseph the carpentar in the whole affair is very much doubtful. Look after your own video of your own supposed people please.

**Muslim Woman has not gone back on anything. See your malafide topic " A movie about Muhammad". When discussing that, Muhammad needs to be known and the place where he was born and lived. All is well known whatever he did throughout his life.

It is not like Jesus whose 80 % of life is hidden in obscurity, i.e. from birth, jesus soon went away to Egypt. He lived there till the age of 12. Nobody knows what he was doing there in Egypt.**
Hum! What are your sources to tell us that Jesus lived in Egypt until the age of 12. Joseph did not have to wait so many years to come back from Egypt to Galilee with Mary and Jesus. According to the Gospel according to Matthew, it was as soon as Herod the Great was dead. And when Jesus was 12, he came to Jerusalem for his Bar-Mitzvah and he was coming from… Nazareth, not Egypt!

“1001 Arabian Nights” starring Mohammed, his wives, concubines and slaves . . .etc.
josie, We never had any concubines. But your leaders and ancestors of Jesus (Soloman) had 300 wives and 1000 concubines. That is according to your bible, not according to Quran. The great grand grand father of Jesus (King David) was not far behind in such things. I feel that you never read the OT or the NT.

What are you talking about? Mary knew Jesus was the Son of God before He was conceived! The Angel Gabriel TOLD her!
Luke 1:26-38
Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. And when the angel had come to her, he said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women.” When she had heard him she was troubled at his word, and kept pondering what manner of greeting this might be.
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for thou hast found grace with God. Behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and shalt bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he shall be king over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” But Mary said to the angel, “How shall this happen, since I do not know man?”
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit shall come upon thee and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee; and therefore the Holy One to be born shall be called the Son of God. And behold, Elizabeth thy kinswoman also has conceived a son in her old age, and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month; for nothing shall be impossible with God.”
But Mary said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to thy word.” And the angel departed from her.
Mary knew EXACTLY what she was saying yes to and who her Son would be and is.

Had you been Joseph, you probably would have been surprised too even if you knew something about the status of Jesus, for how many ordinary people would receive the visit of other people for the purpose of worshipping their child.
To know about Jesus’ status is one thing, but to realise the consequences of his status on the events is quite another matter. The parents were humans, not god and godess!!

As to Jesus’ status, Mary and Joseph knew, even though they must have not fully realised the full IMPLICATIONS of this.
How they knew? From the annunciations by God Himself through the archangel Gabriel, according to the text of the Gospel according to Luke, chapter 1, verses 26 to 38 (to Mary) and in the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 1, I don’t remember which exact verses (to Joseph)

Things have changed, planten, even in Judaism, I guess. Also, with King Solomon having quite drifted away from Israel’s faith because of the non-Israelite wives, and maybe the concubines too, I guess it helped examine the disadvantages of polygamy. I don’t know if the Israelites were forbidden then to have more than one wife but they certainly were warned to be careful that they don’t drift away from the faith of their fathers because of non-Israelites!

I believe that according to Islam, men can’t have more than four (4) wives, planten, isn’t it true?

I am sure the Muslim men don’t need to be seen as automatic womanizers just because of this!

I mean, let us face it: there are many womanizers among us where monogamy used to be the law and the custom… aren’t there?

are falling into planten’s trap again.

Ever heard of the Jewish story of a smart aleck who went to Rabbi Shammai, and then to Rabbi Hillel, asking them to summarize the whole Torah in the time one could stand on one foot?
Rabbi Shammai, full of indignation, dismissed the guy immediately.
Rabbi Hillel chose to gently answer him: “Whatever you don’t want to be done to do, don’t do it to your neighbour. That is the Torah. Now go and apply it to your own life.”
Does it mean Rabbi Hillel was necessarily unaware that the question was from a smart aleck? I don’t think so…

That was a good story! It sounds like Rabbi Hillel might have been a bit of a smart aleck himself which served him well that time. He used God’s gift very well.

O.K., what trap, and how was my reply wrong?
Planten has a habit of bringing up off-topic subjects in his responses in order to change the direction of the thread away from subjects Muslims don’t wish to discuss. He sometimes tries to bring up Jesus or aspects of Christianity in order to put the spotlight elsewhere.

Your reply wasn’t wrong - as I don’t believe mine was either. 👍
