Have we reached the end of the movie yet?
Nope, 1400 years and Islam is still going, and is on the rise at the moment.Have we reached the end of the movie yet?![]()
Oh, please not a sequel.Nope, 1400 years and Islam is still going, and is on the rise at the moment.
Maybe time for a sequel though.![]()
planten, you probably misunderstand the reason as to why that story is there in the first place. Tamar gave her father-in-law a lesson, to make him aware of the wrong he did to her. He promised her that his other son would be made her husband but didnât fulfill his promise. Judah finally recognized the wrong he did. It wasnât written so that anyone should act like them! Her deed was also a kind of revenge. But the thing here was that she was a victim of a wrong that demanded reparation⌠Such passages can be used in examining our own consciences when asking God for the forgiveness of my sins.** Lapell, not all hadith are lies. Similarly not all bible is true. Only 20% of bible may be true.
Lapell, this post is not actually intended for you. So please allow it, as it is, for some Catholics only.
I do believe that Hadith to be a lie. What harm is there? It is not true. Similarly there are reports of prophets in the bibleOT misbehaving with their own daughters or a son of Jacob (Yehuda?) who had sex with his own daughter in law and produced illegitimate children who were the ancestors of King David and Jesus, all those reports must be wrong.
Why canât you people understand those things. Is it necessary that we believe such bad things. **
Illegimate, I donât know⌠but they certainly were his ancestors through Joseph. We do believe it, planten. Even though the list differs in Matthew and in Luke after the exil to Babylon, Joseph the carpenter was a descendant of David in his own right, and one thing even surer, he was of the tribe of Judah. Back then, every Jew would be identified according to his tribeâŚ** Lapell, not all hadith are lies. Similarly not all bible is true. Only 20% of bible may be true.

And what is your special interest in maligning the prophet in foul reports even if they are written some where. The other reports about the illegitimate ancestors of Jesus are also written in the bibles. What would you say? Would you believe them as true?

My dear planten, you may not believe this, but the whole Bible is true, not just 20%!** Lapell, not all hadith are lies. Similarly not all bible is true. Only 20% of bible may be true.**
Which post? I didnât notice⌠Iâll look back!** Lapell, I am aware of the things you have written in the last three posts. And thanks to you for confirming and informing me further into those things. That was good. Almost everything you have written is true.
I had planned to reply my last post to one of the Catholics. But by chance (or mistake) I started it in your name. I hope you would not mind my that previous long post**.
Good observation.Another aspect that maybe should be brought out in a movie about mohammed is that phenomenon that no one bothers muslim clerics. But that same courtesy is not extended to priests (7 were killed in 2007-2008 and one this year was burned alive). Or just recently muslims beat up a minister.
I think a lot of this cowering has to do with a money trail.Make sure to show our own government and media cowering and bowing to islamâs demands of censorship and whitewashing their atrocities too. Of our TV industry doing the same, I might add, in some half-baked fairy tale about mohammed.
From the articleHere is my favorite article on it, just in case anyone hasnât read it, Slavery in islam. And a video I have posted before: Slavery in Islam.
The same thing âWhat a religion!â] could be said about the other practices of Islam. It is also noted that as the slaves get too old to perform service or sexually satisfy their masters, their masters âmanumitsâ the slaves. Now, aged, worn out, they are put out on the streets to fend for themselves. These ex-slaves are left to fend for themselves. Their former owner has committed a great, righteousness act in freeing a slave! He gets rid of the burdensome slave, and gets a bonus in heaven. What a religion!
The whole article is just moving. Before hollyweird got into major âpcâ mode with the muslims, they actually brought out the muslim slave trade that still happened in 1871 via at least one movie made in 1939 - Stanley and Livingstone (1939). 1871 was AFTER the American Civil War was over. From the article

This thread is too long to read all the posts, so tell me please why on earth a catholic would want a film made about a false prophet for exactly. If you were to create a movie regarding the Islamic Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, what scenes would you put in it?
Iâm not looking for your details about the whole movie, but perhaps you could suggest a scene that would be worthy to teach people about Muhammad.
The idea is to create a movie that could teach people about Muhammad.
A billion people believe Mohammed/Islam. Five billion+ donât, but out of the five billion far too many think it is something that it isnât. If Moslems can have holy text that deny the Catholic faith as the Koran does- an accurate movie about Mohammed might make other realize its true nature and not the dhimmi myth of Islam/Mohammed.This thread is too long to read all the posts, so tell me please why on earth a catholic would want a film made about a false prophet for exactly.
Iâm not saying a muslim is any more sinful than anyone else, but Islam is sinful and against scripture and God condemns it.A billion people believe Mohammed/Islam. I think Iâd call it: âMohammed: saint or sinner? You tell me.âA film about a false prophet is not what anyone needs, unless it is a film entitled ââThe false Prophetââ.
Sinner certainly.I think Iâd call it: âMohammed: saint or sinner? You tell me.â
or
âMohammed: The most perfect man???â
