The church building itself has been sitting empty - doors locked - since 1991. People have tried to keep the parish going, and have even tried to get the Archdiocese to open it for one day only to celebrate it’s feast day. No luck. It has been abandoned for years.
I think the current owners have done well by not letting it be razed or taken over for expensive housing.
They are respecting the architecture and former religious use of the building. Kudos to them.
