Please read Barbara Kralis’s latest column. The topic is the scandalous failure of the hierarchy to prevent pro-abortion politicians from sacrilegiously receiving Holy Communion in defiance of canon 915. The immediate news story is Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s recent appearance at Trinity College in Washington:

If women’s ordination weren’t theologically impossible, Mrs. Kralis (along with Judie Brown of American Life League) would have to be named to the College of Cardinals.
Question: would our bishops allow politicians supporting hatred for, and injustice toward, our African-American, Jewish, and Muslim brothers and sisters to receive Holy Communion? Why are the bishops permitting politicians who support hatred for, and injustice toward, unborn children to receive the Eucharist and to be considered Catholics in good standing? Isn’t the bishops’ laissez-faire policy regarding the reception of Holy Communion and the non-excommunication of pro-abortion politicians one of the worst scandals in the entire history of the Catholic Church?
How can Pope John Paul II be right in calling abortion murder (encyclical Evangelium vitae, section 58) if you can endorse its legality and still receive the body and blood of Christ?
Keep and spread the Faith.
