This is from the diary (bold mine). if only for a brief moment,

I think it can be anything you want, long or as short as “Jesus I trust in You”
At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy. In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion ( Diary, 1320). https://www.thedivinemercy.org

because of the issue of free will, I believe many of us pray for things that will take time.

This is why I add the prayer for God’s will to be done, for the Holy Spirit to enlighten, correct and guide us in the situation, for forgiveness for our sins and the graces to accept God’s will over the issue.

I try to pray the divine mercy chaplet each day and include the first couple of decades for random prayer requests and the rest of the chaplet for the needs of family, friends, clergy, etc. sometimes I pray more than 5 decades. On a rare occasion, I will pray more-than-one chaplet.

@upant Thank you for your leadership here and for all your prayers. Yesterday I said the DM without any cheat sheets, DVD, or CD help at all. First time in life. Thank you for your inspiration. Have mercy on all those on CAF who are in need of prayers, all those on CAF who pray for others, all those who are suffering from the coronavirus (for an end to the suffering of covid 19), all those who know and love you (and for them to come to know and love you even more), all those who don’t yet know love you (to come to know and love you), and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
