A prayer at the 3 o'clock hour, let's offer something up to the Divine Mercy of Jesus

3 o’clock prayer :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
Have mercy on all those who are suffering from the coronavirus (for an end to the suffering of covid 19 and for healing/ restoration), all those on CAF and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Eternal Father in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion is inexhaustible, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Amen.

I did pray a decade of my daily Divine Mercy Chaplet for each of these intentions at a different hour.

Thank you for your faithful prayer at the 3:00 hour and your message about Divine Mercy. Thank you for prayers for Uncle Charles. He was released from hospital and is doing better. He is on medicines for bronchitis and lung infections. God bless you.

Why at 3 o’clock?
In His revelations to St. Faustina, Our Lord asked for a special prayer and meditation on His Passion each afternoon at the three o’clock hour, the hour that recalls His death on the cross.

At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy. In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion ( Diary, 1320). https://www.thedivinemercy.org

Posting may be late, but the prayer was on time

why only a decade?

I try to pray the divine mercy chaplet each day and include the first couple of decades for random prayer requests and the rest of the chaplet for the needs of family, friends, clergy, etc. sometimes I pray more than 5 decades. On a rare occasion, I will pray more-than-one chaplet.

God bless all who read this and pray with me for those whom I pray …and God bless those just visiting the thread.

Thank you for praying for me and those of us here who can’t go to Adoration.

We have a heroic priest here who stands on his driveway after livestream mass and hears confession from the required 2m distance as we are allowed to meet a person from another household in such circumstances now. It’s a funny experience as you stand around the corner from each other me huddled between the wall and the garage and he in front of the garage so as not to be heard by the street ( much of England is very close together). It was wonderful. This is a new thing, so a fruit of your prayers to God’s merciful ears.
