A prayer fo my failing marriage

My Lord and Heavenly Father,

Today I humble myself before you. I give thanks for all you have done in my life. I give thanks for the blessing of marriage that you have bestowed upon me. You know the love I feel is real. As you made a promise to me the day you offerred your son for my sins, I too made a promise to you “until death do us part”. Your wisdom has put us through trials over the last year. You sent my wife off to the combat zone, you caused me financial strife, you have bent my relationship with Tamara to the tension point. Now you have brought Tamara safely back from combat. Lord, as we speak together this evening, please place your Holy Spirit within me and make me speak the words of wisdom, compassion, faith, and love. Give up the words of reconciliation that I may tenderly speak them to her. Open her ears and her heart that she may receive your words. Tender Father, I pray for this miracle not for myself, but that Tamara and I may stand someday, hand in hand, heart in heart, together as a testiment to you. your Spirit is here. Let it move us together. Fill our hearts with you.

and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;

Mike, I keep you in my prayers as I see our situation is almost the same. Thank you for your prayer as well. Be strong–two years my wife hasn’t returned, and still she hasn’t returned as of now. I have not given up hope. Like you, I believe in what our vow said–“til death do us part”. It is a covenant to God. It is a promise I intend to keep, no matter what, even if it should hurt. I know in the end, love will prevail, and I pray that in the end, your marriage would hold despite the odds. Just hang in there.

Lord please give strength to these guys coping with terrible emotional turmoil.May they be guided by You to know the way forward.They have and continue to be very brave.They are loyal servants and we pray You comfort them and lead them the right way Lord.

Lord hear our prayers…
Mike and Milliardo took the vowsof sacramental marriage they continue to live by them
even though their partners are at present away from them.Give them courage and strength to continue guide them we pray that they may know how to behave what to say or do or think!they have been suffering greatly and continue to do so.Lord please help them in their time of need.

Please Lord
give strength and guidance to Mike and Milliardo and all others who suffer this pain of marriage troubles.May they have strong faith to get them through this difficult journey and be guided by You Lord that their actions be as You would have them.

We come before you today and lift up intentions on behalf of Mike Brown and his wife, in the hope that your Holy Spirit will send blessings, mercy, and healing to this married couple and that your son Jesus will be present in the marriage and to both partners as they contemplate the future of their married life together. Lord, your servants who endure separation and hardship are being tested and need your great hope and strength to endure. Please grant Mike Brown a strong faith, courage, wisdom, and hope in You. Please soften the hardened heart of his wife and send your Holy Spirit to be with her in a special way so the couple you have joined together can be healed and continue together, if that be your Holy and perfect will. Please also send competent and compassionate people to minister to both partners during the time they remain apart and as they go through the counseling process. Lord, we know you often present us with suffering and trials to help our formation, and you will always provide a way out, but some times the hurt and pain are very great and we do not always focus on listening to You. Please help Mike Brown and his wife listen to You in prayer, dear Lord.

Heavenly father, we continue to pray on behalf of the marriage of Mike and Tamara, which has made them one flesh. May it not be torn asunder by the sinful desires of man. As with all marriages, may the power of love prevail, drawing them ever closer to You, and to one another. We ask this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son. Amen! Alleluia!
