A prayer to help me against Betrayal, Slander, and harassment.

A neighbor/friend whom I have known for over 20 years betrayed me. He then slandered me.

I think He is still doing this by lying about me to other neighbors to make me out to be the bad guy. I believe he might be using his kids (who I used to babysit) to help in this. I know this sounds paranoid, but this is the type of environment I live in. I’m worried about possible harassment following.

I could use your prayers.

I am isolated, and I feel totally alone.

I am learning more and more, that slander is one of the wickedest things you could do to a person, in some ways, wickeder than murder. And I’m not all surprised that he could use his kids to further his lies.

May God bless you and keep you. Pray Psalm 46, 7, 27, 100, and 91.

I think you might want to look into taking a legal step, for your own protection.
 
** I am so sorry that this has happened to you.
It hurts to be betrayed by someone you considered to be a friend.
I will pray that this situation is resolved, and that includes praying
for your neighbor.

Dear Lord,

You know what it’s like to be betrayed, slandered and harassed by those whom You loved and died for.

Please grant Pollylodges the grace to unite their cross with Your Holy one as they deal with being betrayed, slandered and harassed.

We also pray for their former friend. May there be reconciliation and healing in this matter and may Your ever eternal love, forgiveness and mercy be the hallmark of their relationship.

Amen.

A relative is experiencing extortion from a couple of people so i understand how you feel about being slandered by someone you know. It is terrible. I am praying for you and will include your intentions at every Mass that I go to. I ask your guardian angel to protect you in a very special way, and for the conversion of your neighbor.
