A pregnant man?

Hopefully the child will not have bear the spotlight on him/her which seems to be the focus the mother invited upon herself. 😦

The child must suffer in order to reniforce the parents hard fought for victim status. They will do everything they can to spotlight this kid and will call a press conference everytime a kid so much as sticks their tongue out at him
 
As a pregnant WOMAN, this really disturbs me because being pregnant is a gift given to women, and along with that comes having regular periods, producing breast milk, experiencing the mood swings and the bloating and the cramps. But also experiencing the life of a woman. It’s upsetting to me that this person wants to be a man, but wants the good part about being a woman. It’s like all those people who celebrate Mardi Gras, but don’t practice Lent. You’re either a woman or you’re not. I say she’s a woman, but one that doesn’t want to take the bad with the good, and wants to deny that femininity that we have all been blessed with.

Why would you say something so sick and disgusitng? NO child desveres to suffer. It’s not his fault he was born into the family.:mad:

We agree in something-these parents are sick and disgusting. No one said the poor kid deserved it-just that given his parents track record they will use him to gain as much sympathy for their cause as they can.

Don’t get me wrong please. I love being a woman but the bleeding, the cramps, the bloating, the mood swings and even lactating is not my idea of being ‘blessed’. 😛

I have no problem with someone who really feels that they were born the wrong sex doing something to change that. I do have a problem with a woman who might be jeopardizing her child by taking male hormones or even steroids and then claiming she is actually a pregnant male. Now that to me is delusional.:ehh:

The problems in the following years of those East German athletes who competed in the Olympics and later had children who suffered as a result of the meds is a good example of the harm that might be forthcoming for this child.

And I might ask what exactly is the ‘life of a woman’? I went to college, created my own business after working in the corporate world, married, am a practicing Catholic and do charitable works. I don’t think that really identifies me as a woman since quite a few men seem to have done exactly what I did. Now, I really need to find out what it is that makes my life experience’s as a woman so different? OK, I like to play bingo and it seems more women are at the bingo event than men. Now that is a blessing! 😉

I wonder if my ‘tongue in cheek’ comments are womanly? :ehh:

I believe this is an abusive situation all around. It may have started as an innocent desire for a child, but I doubt it.

For a doctor to agree to create this situation lacks any compassion for the child, its more likely a desire to publish.

For the parents to parade in the media lacks any compassion for the child, and, actually shows a desire for fame, and profit.

For the publishers, Oprah, People Magazine & the media in general, this is going to be a field day that could last a lifetime (we still see periodic updates on baby Jessica, America loves a child star no matter the reason for the fame).

I can’t but think that the homosexual agenda will use this child.

The child is definitely a loser in this situation.

I agree that the one to suffer will be the child. The parents are seeking attention more than to love a child, if they cared about the child they would have kept the issue secret. There is no doubt that this is a loose loose situation for the child, we must pray for him.
 
The first time I heard anything about this was on Oprah last week.

I was shouting at the TV and was thinking 'did Oprah have her brain removed or what?!?! IS she completely oblivious to all the ISSUES that are surrounding this poor soul?

Her mother died when she was relatively young… and she spent a lot of her time in this ‘beauty pageant’ thing…

Does not anyone else see what kind of serious psychological issues are going on here??? DUH!!!

I actually feel sooooo sorry for the both. The female in her… and the so called ‘male’ in her.

She’ll probably end up with a lot more problems the longer she lives.

I think we need to pray for that child BIG TIME!

I (and I suspect others) do have a problem with such a cavalier attitude toward your own person.

This looks suspiciously like directly opposing the will of God.

“I don’t wanna be a girl, so I’ll get some parts cut off and some others sewn on.”

We all have crosses to bear. No one has cornered the market in unhappiness.

Actually there is controversy. First of all, the “man” became pregnant by artificial insemination which is not permitted. Secondly, the child may be really confused as it grows up. Imagine learning the your “father” gave birth to you.:confused:

I too feel very sorry for people who have given themselves over to something they aren’t. That includes transgendered people, gays and folks who don’t know who they are.

If you want to know who you are, look in a mirror. If you’re bothered by what you see, take it to the Lord in prayer. If that doesn’t work, take it to Him in prayer again.

Keep taking it to the Lord and I can promise you He will provide a solution to whatever problem you have. I know this for a fact. But if you falter and give up, you will revert right back where you were.

Remember: take it to the Lord in prayer. Ask for His help and commit yourself to Him. Do not give up and you WILL FIND HELP. Good luck in your quest!
 
It is extremely difficult for me not to want to lash out at all of you except for Pathos. If you all represent Christ and His teachings, then (if I did not know better), I would run as far away as I could from all of you! Frankly all of you disgust me with your vile, evil, and VERY ignorant remarks. I AM A CATHOLIC FTM who must struggle and carry my cross every single day of my life!!! I have struggled with being transexual since I was FOUR YEARS OLD!!! How dare any of you set yourselves up to be my judge and the judge of so many others who suffer as I do? HOW DARE YOU!!! You judge, spit and trample asunder anything that your small, narrow minds do not understand. If you people were the best Catholicism had to offer, I would spit everytime I passed a Catholic Church instead of making the sign of the cross as I do. I am too furious to finish this post. But I will be back when I can summon more Christ-like charity. You people are very mean. It isn’t enough to question as any sane person WOULD do, no, you have to mock and scorn.
