A priest passed away today

I attended daily mass today, November 5 2007 and the celebrant priest announced that Fr. Matthias Tung passed away this afternoon at the age of 84. Let us pray for the repose of his soul.

It’s definitely difficult to the situation in Singapore. I believe he is the 4th/5th priest passed away this year and there is no ordination in the next 5 years. At this rate, very soon, there’ll only be a priest in a parish. 😦
 
I will definitely pray for Father Matthias Tung and for more young men to be called to the Priesthood. We definitely need more all over the world. I shall offer all of this in my Rosary today. God bless his soul. :signofcross: :highprayer:

Look with Your infinite love upon his faithful service and cast Your heavenly gaze upon those to whom he administered countless Sacraments during the course of his life. You alone know how much he loved you, Lord. Judge him mercifully and grant him blessed peace, as he eternally adores You, not as through a mirror, but face to face. I ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
