It’s not insane to not believe in supernaturals, there no evidences for thor, zeus, appollo, Jupiter, allah, Jehovah, demons, angels, heavens, hell, or other religious stories. Most religions claim that they are the truth, but there is no extraordinary evidence that indicates that any of these religions is true, which one to believe? I don’t want to believe blindly, I quite see no reason to believe in any of them because there is thousands of many reasons whether in sciences, logic, philosophy, history, sociology and ethics that made me figure out that all these religions were a part of a great collection of ancient historical mythologies made up by us, humans and many times to serve our desires and fill our lack of knowledge ( where knowledge ends, religion begins).
You’re saying that God is clear and people are without excuses, If any god is clear as you’re saying, then believers of different faiths would at least agree on the basics of that god(s) and his characters and desires, which isn’t the case.
I will look more for the miracle you mentioned, but if I ever seen a miracle and disbelieved it, that’s because:
-It could be fake
-It could be silly
-It isn’t undeniable
-I still have much more reasons to disbelieve in Gods (the Catholic god here), which makes Catholic miracles impossible to me, since there is no god, mary, Jesus.
- There could be a scientific explanation without a god.
-It could be an unknown mystery ( I would take the side of an agnostic here).
