No. The Mormons believe He is the Christ. They just don’t believe in the Trinity like the Apostles taught it. Though, they think they do. Also, a person who believes a heresy is not necessarily teaching one. Most people that embrace heresies are not teachers.Anyone that says Jesus is not the Christ is, according to the Bible, an anti-christ. I’d say that person is heretical in teaching, wouldn’t you?
Most people embracing and teaching heresies are not “heretics”, since they never had the True Faith, as passed down to us by the Apostles.
The problem I am having, Doki, is how you can make these claims unless these things are also true. If infant baptism is not from the Apostles, then the disciples departed from the Apostolic Teaching. If they departed, then it seems Jesus was unable to correct them.
- The rest I’ll not bother commenting on nor will I read at this time because there really doesn’t seem any way to say what I believe without some destortion (as you’re first question implies a destortion of what I said) or without going round and round and round.
It may seem like a distortion to you, but to me, it seems like a logical conclusion.
Ok, my brother. May God richly bless you.
- At this time, I’d rather just be your friend and let it be at that. Invite me to go to church with you and I’d love to. Let’s go for a coffee and I’d love to (milk, no cream or sugar - NO fancy coffee either). Let’s go and seek those who don’t know Jesus and tell them about Him. The rest of this stuff is too much for my pea brain to do over and over and over again.
