You remind me of the atheists Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins that believe those who teach Christian values to children are ‘brainwashing them’ thus abusing them. You seem to think those who do not believe in infant baptism are hurting our children even though we believe Paul who told us to bring up our children in the nurture and admonision of the Lord, which we try to do and I’m sure (name removed by moderator)erfectly, speaking only for myself.
I think all human minds need washed, and the sooner it gets started, the better! I believe that many fervent families among our separated brethren strive to raise their children in the faith. Many of them do a better job than Catholics do!

Your theology on the issue seems to chase all unbaptized babies away. Kev includes all babies in the Kingdom of Heaven, thus your destortion and misrepresentation of Kev's theology on this issue.
According to what the Apostles believed and taught, there is no need to “chase” anyone away. Everyone born into this world is born into it separated from God through Adam’s sin. This is why Jesus said “He who doesn not believe is condemned already”. We are not in a state of reconciliation with God, but of enmity. All have sinned “in Adam”. The effect of original sin is that we are no longer in right standing with God as a human race.

It's you who seem to miss it's the Blood of Jesus that cleanses us from sin and NOTHING else.
No, not at all! Baptism is the manner in which we are cleansed by the blood. In baptism, we are buried with Him in His death, united to Him in resurrection. In it, we are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands. We are sealed with the promised HS. All our sins are washed way, as we call upon HIs name.
You and Elvis have many things in common and one of them is misrepresenting or misstating what others are saying or believe.
We are telling you how your position appears from our perspective. I really do want to know how you dispense with the scripture that equates baptism with circumcision.
I have read the reconstruction of Jn. 3 - the fantasy that the water Jesus speaks of there is physical birth. But I have not yet been exposed to how the other scripture is reconstructed. There must be a way to dispense with this!
Col 2:11 in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;
Col 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Col 2:13 And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, I say, did he quicken together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;
Col 2:14 having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross;
Col 2:15 having put off from himself the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
For those who have received the faith of the Apostles, this is understood to mean that in baptism we are joined with Christ in His death. Baptism is how we are separated from the bond of death that was against us. The merits of His once for all sacrifice are made present in our hearts.
Guanophone: “However, since He instructed us to baptize them, we do so.”
Could you please remind me where Jesus said this?
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;
Eph 5:26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,
Eph 5:27 that he might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
All those who are washed with His water are members of His Church.
