A response to the NCReporter’s toxic attack on the Latin Mass

Just a reminder that NCR isn’t Catholic and they’ve been told to stop calling themselves catholic by the bishop.
 
Just read the article on the Catholic World Report website which very well refuted the awful article posted at that other “catholic” website (NCR). Thanks for the link.
 
I love to sing in Latin, so I think that is where I get the love for singing in Latin. Why would they call it a toxic cult Latin is a beautiful language that I love. So why are people so angry about it?
 
This misinformed group of journalists have lied for decades about being a Catholic publication and will write anything to discredit orthodoxy or what is true and beautiful. They need prayers of conversion.

Never mind its beauty and its significance… Because, the liberals/progressives in the Church view Latin, along with other things that they consider as “traditional”, as a step backward in the Church. It threatens them, and it interferes with their quest to “update and modernize” the Church.

They can not stand the mere thought that people actually like Latin. So they attack it with a vengeance…

I only had to read halfway through the second paragraph of her diatribe to see it was the Gregorian Rite itself she was really attacking.
