I can remember running as a kid and getting a stitch
Would warming up beforehand have prevented this?

The grandkids are napping, what bliss!
Now I can shower and feel clean!

Clean running water, a blessing it I deem,
Until the bill for the hot water arrived!

But I asked everyone to pay up and we survived.
The sorority house has its ups and downs.

The latter on which the leader frowns.
But I guess that’s part of life.

As Bobby Darin sings “Mack the Knife”
We while away the hours singing the oldies.

Even their age does not make them moldies.
If they were, that would be unfortunate.

It brings on some sweet sensations
And twinges of nostalgia.

It is there we receive Communion and pray.
What more can a Catholic ask for?
