A valid reason for annulment

I thank everyone again for their thoughts and the information. I"ll keep you posted as to what happens.
I did send a question to my diocese. They replied that the process will take 1-2 years and the cost is about $500.00. There is no assurance that the annulment would be granted.

That sounds correct. There needs to be a gathering of evidence, his wife will be given a chance to reply, the tribunal will study the evidence, make a ruling, and then it needs to go to a 2nd tribunal for confimation.

The $500 fee is generally waivable in cases of finacial hardship.
