First of all, this posting is not meant to be disrespectful, but if for some reason it crosses the line, I trust that the moderators will pull the thread and I will fully understand.
As many of you know I talk to everyone from very conservative or traditional roots to very liberal, progressive and post-modern roots in the Catholic faith as part of searching out my call to explore the conversation between indigenous communities and catholic teaching, spirituality for many years now. Recently I have been introduced to CathInfo of which i have started to talk to many wonderful people.
I think that as many catholics in the past or present have sought to understand the significance and impacts of Vatican II, the notion of communiist infiltration and the Mason’s seem to be two themes that explain the results of Vatican II for Traditional Catholics who have made a choice not to continue their journey with us into the post-conciliar world.
What my question is - with regards to AA 1025, I would like to know if there are any collaborative documents that could be read in relation to AA 1025? What is the current thinking among academics and theologians about the role of Communism in relation to Vatican II? Any references you can cite and recommend i would greatly appreciate.
