tradcathconvert and Vim 71: thank you for visiting my thread again. You are so
wonderful to spend your prayer time on me. I am having a “rocky” week so I so
appreciate it. My dog is gone for the week, and I have had plenty of solitary time to
think about the future. I have one divorce counselor who tells me to look out three
and six months. Then my pastor tells me: no, stay in the present. Live day by day
so you are not overhwhelmed. It does get daunting sometimes. I have to remember
I am only three months in to this new life, and it is bound to look differently and feel
differently. CAF gives me support. I think about it day-by-day. You are helping me
to feel stronger and hang in there. God bless all.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen

tradcathconvert and tbcrawford: thank you for signing in with prayer on my thread.
Teresa, I was astounded. My thread (largely because of you and the way you have
encouraged and promoted it) has grown to 73 pages. This boggles my mind! If I
doubt myself, all I have to do is read back amongst the pages and take a look at the
way CAF folks have extended themselves to me through the Almighty. Just so very
grateful to Father, Son and Holy Spirit for this.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

The Reginator and vim 71: Thank you for your intentions and prayers. Glad to hear
from both of you. A friend took me to lunch yesterday, and we ate outdoors before a
huge storm moved in. Felt good to chat and dine with someone besides myself. Was
such a treat. I enjoy company now like I never did before. So appreciate your time
on prayer for me: the most important thing for my perseverance.

Hail holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.

Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us. And after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Oremus.
Almighty, everlasting God, who by the cooperation of the Holy Spirit, didst prepare the body and soul of the glorious Virgin-Mother Mary to become a worthy dwelling for Thy Son; grant that we who rejoice in her commemoration may, by her loving intercession, be delivered from present evils and from the everlasting death. Amen.

To thee, O blessed Joseph, do we come in our tribulation, and having implored the help of thy most holy Spouse, we confidently invoke thy patronage also. Through that charity which bound thee to the immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the paternal love with which thou embraced the Child Jesus, we humbly beg thee to graciously regard the inheritance which Jesus Christ has purchased by his Blood, and with thy power and strength to aid us in our necessities.

O most watchful Guardian of the Holy Family, defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ; O most loving father, ward off from us every contagion of error and corrupting influence; O our most mighty protector, be propitious to us and from heaven assist us in our struggle with the power of darkness; and, as once thou rescued the Child Jesus from deadly peril, so now protect God’s Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity; shield, too, each one of us by thy constant protection, so that, supported by thy example and thy aid, we may be able to live piously, to die holy, and to obtain eternal happiness in heaven. Amen.

Vim71 and tradcathconvert: I thank you both for imploring heaven on my cause. I
did make some strides this week. I was by myself ( no dog) the entire week, and I
am increasingly able to enjoy my new location. Lots of excitement last night! Gideon
had made a tear in the screen door of the back porch. I have a handyman scheduled
to repair it next week. Lo and behold, I feed many birds and a pesky squirrel. Last
night as it turned dark, I was sitting, watching TV. Heard a racket, and was stunned
to see a raccoon tearing at the hole in the screen! He wanted in to the porch because
of two bags of birdfeed. Apparently, the corn and sunflower seeds inside proved
irresistible! To make a long story short, he made a second appearance and I had
to be loud with him. I knew if he got in the porch, he could really tear up the place. I
have securely put the feed in a safer place. He sat in the backyard tree for a long time
watching me walk back and forth. Had to say he looked darling with his little black
mask on. A night raider!!!

O most holy, O most obedient,
sweet Virgin Mary.
Mother loving, fearless,
pray, pray for us.

You are our solace, our refuge,
Virgin Mother, Mary,
We hope in you for all our needs
pray, pray for us.

Behold the weak, and weary,
save us O Mary,
take our pains, take our sorrows,
pray, pray for us.

O Mary, you are full of beauty,
and spotless.
Mother so loving and fearless,
pray, pray for us.,

Like a Lilly amid thorns,
you O Mary are among daughters.
Mother most loving, fearless,
pray, pray for us.

In times of misery and anguish
pray for us O Virgin,
pray at the time of our death.
pray, pray for us.

InNomineDomini and Teese: Thanks new friends for placing your prayers and
petitions for me on my thread. You both know “unique” prayers and anecdotes! My
circle grows larger, even though I know my challenges are all for the most part
mental now. I thank you for lifting them to Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Certainly the path
to heaven are earmarked by all the members of the Mystical Body leaving Our Fathers,
Hail Marys and Glory Be’s as little stepping stones to God the Father. Like little
breadcrumbs to be followed. May you and yours enjoy a peaceful and loving
weekend.
