Dear Kaylynn I am sorry to read that your money settlement will not be as much as previously suggested. I pray that whatever the actual financial outcome that you will have enough for a comfortable home for you and Gideon and that you will have no financial worries.
You are dealing with all this so well. I know that I so nearly came to being in your position and I know I would not have the strength and courage that you have shown. Dear Lord thankyou for helping our dear Friend Kaylynn with all her trials in life and that she is such a wonderful example of faith and by her courage of sharing here she is helping so many people.Please guide the process of money to be divided fairly that Kaylynn can purchase a home of her own for security and peace of mind. Lord please bless Kaylynn and help her and Gideon as she adjusts to all these changes including her medications changed and weaned.Lord please keep her safe always and continue to grant her strength and good health. We pray also for Larry for his readjustment to this new phase of life and for them both.Please Lord bless our dear friend Kaylynn always.Thankyou Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

tbcrawford: thank you for the moral support as usual, dear soul sister. My new
handyman knows the moderator of our Divorced and separated group at our parish
very well. He also mentioned he knew I was involved in her meetings. He said, he
too had a huge hurdle to cross recently with his wife. I told him to think long and hard
as they have substantially more assets to be adjudicated. I told him to pray for
maturity and hopefully they will circumvent their problems before it ever gets to
Court. Many people are suffering. I am not alone.

We had a very interesting meeting of the Divorced and Separated group last night:
the focus was on “self-esteem”. Perhaps I should say how divorce erodes "self-
esteem. Somehow talking all these issues through with like-minded people is so
very therapeutic, and we have a wonderful moderator. I am not big on “night”
meetings, but I know once I am in place it becomes a tremendous learning experience
and so worth my while. I need this type of reinforcement. Hope your day is
blest and productive…

Hang in there my dear sister in Christ!
Here’s an idea that’s been on my mind for the past few years. Unfortunately it is rather hard to implement:
Try (as best you can) to accept these sufferings as an actual GIFT from God, knowing that it is for the good of your immortal soul. Always remember that you can unite your suffering with the sufferings of our Lord Jesus for the price of souls. (Isn’t it amazing that we can actually DO that?!?!?!?)In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

beautifully. Before I lay my head down to sleep, I will ask God’s richest blessings on
you–deserving as you are Yes, I realize if I have one single inconvenience offered
to a deserving soul in purgatory it could create an opportunity for that soul and my
needy soul to take a giant leap towards the gates of heaven. Thank you for reminding
me as sometimes I forget. My elderly mother has always, always had a tremendous
love and devotion to the souls of purgatory. I need to think of them more quietly and
privately to hasten their steps to the Eternal Kingdom by my tokens of sacrifice.

Did your dog get wind of the Raccoon? I have two dogs and they would sure give it a run for it’s money if given half a chance.

I read this earlier this week and liked it:

God’s protecting hand has sustained us in so visible a manner that we cannot fail to see in it the attention of his Providence. But our hope is in the Providence of God, which has protected us until the present, and which will provide, somehow, for our future needs.

You ought not to give in to uneasiness about the future. Put yourself gently into the hands of Providence. Perfect abandonment of ourselves in all things for the future requires great courage, but we ought to aspire to it.

Have confidence in the Providence of God that so far has never failed us. The way is not yet clear. Grope along slowly. This is the path traced by Providence. And I follow it. Rest assured, my dear daughters, if you lean with all your weight upon Providence, you will find yourself well supported.
