You said in your opening post that it’s murder. How does that not answer the question? Is it right for me in any way to support abortion or should I talk to a priest bout it

This very sentence admits that the child exists. But the child is not born yet
Most of us here are pro-life. So of course we’re going to say it’s “that bad.” Are you asking why we think it’s bad? That’s been outlined for you well here.. I’m not pro choice or pro life , I just feel like we should have a say , yes after abortion going to confession and asking for the fathers forgiveness is key .
Is the deliberate and pre-meditating killing of a totally innocent living human being bad? If not, how can we claim to have a right to our lives? With the recent talk about abortion , as a Christian and a follower of Christ is it really that bad?
So you’re not pro-murder or against-murder, you just don’t want to have laws against murder. You don’t think new human beings should be protected from those who want to kill them?I’m not pro choice or pro life , I just feel like we should have a say , yes after abortion going to confession and asking for the fathers forgiveness
So you seem to be saying that, “I know it’s murder, but let’s just do it anyway because the child is causing a lot of inconvenience by continuing to be alive”? So it’s OK to murder the weak if it is in the interests of those who have more power?I mean I know that it’s basically murder which is a grave mortal sin but then again what is someone is raped and becomes pregnant and that person is very young and not ready for a baby , let alone have a rapeist baby, shouldn’t such a person abort their child.
That is abusing the mercy and forgiveness of God.life , I just feel like we should have a say , yes after abortion going to confession and asking for the fathers forgiveness is key
Let us imagine the rapist has a 2 hour old child at home when the rape is committed. Does the mother of that child want to grow the child of a rapist into an adult? What about a 2 month old, a 2 year old. Rapists may have children. No child ought be punished for the crimes of their father. But think about it from the mothers point of view !!! I’m sure she wouldn’t want to grow a baby who is the child of a rapist
Examining your beliefs does help you grow.No I’m not saying that, but recently I’ve just started questioning my faith and the last time I checked that’s not a bad thing. Healthy doubts are good for me to grow
Pregnancies from rape are rare.Let us imagine the rapist has a 2 hour old child at home when the rape is committed. Does the mother of that child want to grow the child of a rapist into an adult? What about a 2 month old, a 2 year old. Rapists may have children. No child ought be punished for the crimes of their father.
Putting aside the topic of abortion for a moment, what you describe here is the sin of presumption. It’s a sin in and of itself to deliberately commit a sin with the mindset of “I’ll do this and then go to Confession.”yes after abortion going to confession and asking for the fathers forgiveness is key
With all due respect, these two thoughts don’t belong in the same sentence.as a Christian and a follower of Christ is it really that bad? I mean I know that it’s basically murder
