Abortionist disrupt Mass in Nicaragua
Managua, Oct 1, 2007 / 11:51 am (CNA).- Just yesterday, feminists and pro-abortion supporters interrupted Mass at the Cathedral of Managua in Nicaragua and attempted to receive Holy Communion. When they were refused, according to church law, they reacted violently and forced the celebrant to end the Mass.

The decision by the celebrant, Father Bismark Conde, to deny them Communion bothered the women, some of whom are members of “Catholics for a Free Choice.” They remained in the church and demanded to receive the Eucharist.

According to the Nicaraguan daily “La Prensa,” the others in attendance at the Mass began to demand out loud that the women leave the church, while Father Conde attempted to maintain calm and prevent a confrontation. Many began to call the women “killers” and “baby killers,” shouting, “God will punish you for what you are doing.

.”
Hurray for denying the (would Heretics be the correct term for them?) communion!

i second that!!! i am just upset that they would DEMAND the Eucharist… a person must receive Christ… not demand in a horrible manner…

May God’s Mercy prevail in their souls.

By the way Wolf… have you seen their website? a disgrace!

I third that and more.
I third that and more. The priest was absolutely right. Heretics!!
GraceAngel.

The priest was right. The reaction of the women, which can be summed by saying, “give me what I want or else”, demonstrates that their position is morally bankrupt.

The priest in denying them communion was correct.

Maybe they should try San Francisco.
Why Joe? What happens in San Francisco?
Being of the australian type I am not entirely up on the American scene.
God Bless and have a good day.

They are, by thier own acton. Code of Canon Law 1398** A person who procures a completed abortion incurs a latae sententiae** excommunication.

Who was the woman saint that would physically throw people out of the church for improper dress. Wonder what she’d do to these heretics?

I find this both scandalous and sad. To my mind, it is grossly unfair to put the celebrant in the position of having to deny communion to anyone, much less a group. In making their “statement” these women dishonored themselves by showing themselves to be pushy and selfish in the extreme.

I don’t know if attempting to obtain communion is heresy or not, but it certainly is inflammatory. If they are operating on the theory that any publicity is good publicity, they may feel they have won this round.

Posters above make some good points. Often persons with common sense who know they will be denied communion at one church simply go elsewhere, quietly receive communion and avoid distasteful public rancor.

Disgusting. I get so sick of hearing stories like this where yet another pro-abortion “Catholic” has demanded to receive the Eucharist but were denied. Thank God that they were denied. People such as this deserve nothing more than excommunication.

Personally I get more annoyed when so called “Catholics” are GIVEN communion…

From a philosophical standpoint, this makes no sense. If you believe the Church is Christ’s spotless bride, then you submit to her teachings. If you think she’s wrong, you determine she can’t be the one true church established by God and you go on to find or found that one true church. The only reason you would pull a stunt like this is if you want to show your disrespect and force your own beliefs on a group of people. If it’s a false denomination, it doesn’t matter.

This doesn’t surprise me. I think, sadly, we can expect more of this kind of thing in the years to come. I pray for these women and those like them.

I agree. I don’t know why they’d bother to stick around in a church that they so clearly disagree with. Makes very little sense.

I second you, these are anti catholics… and have no respect to Jesus Who is in the Eucharist! Fortunately our Lord Jesus who also died for them as well is giving them time to repent as He usually does to every one of us… Lord have mercy on us.::mad:
