Designed to make people think what?
That no matter that the child always dies, the woman who kills the child should choose the ‘legal’ or ‘safer’ options for her own health?
That we should be ‘rooting’ for the woman to keep her own health in mind at all costs?
Seriously, your questions do not make us ‘think’ the way you wish. Your questions for one make me think you are a very sad, lonely, and empty person who is desperately looking for ‘meaning’ in life. So you think you have found meaning by advocating for an individual to be ‘safe’ to live the ‘best possible life’. Of course, since you personally think that once life is over, you’re ‘zip, gone for good, no more existence of any kind’, you’re still empty inside.
You’re like a little girl going all out to get her Barbie dolls looking their absolute best with the newest and neatest outfits and gadgets. . .and all you do the rest of your life, instead of actually going out and finding a vocation and doing anything for anybody, is stay in the room and look at them. You don’t go on with anything else, you have no other ‘life’, and in the end, when you die, your life is a complete waste. All the time you spent getting your Barbies to look perfect meant nothing because it was a total distraction from the life you should have lived, and could have lived if you had stopped focusing on non-essentials.
But you need to justify yourself and to try to present your point of view as being ‘better’ than any ‘theistic’ type, because if you keep pounding out how much ‘better’ you are, you keep building up your wall and cementing yourself into the view that you really are right.
Just my opinion, of course.
