Accident/lost job -please pray

My husband just got in an accident. He broke his leg in 2 places, and tore ligaments in his ankle.
He has had surgery to put 2 bolts in his ankle, he will need them removed in 3 months.

The doctor told him he cannot walk on it for 3 months.

Since he can’t walk, he cannot work at his job. We will have 600 a month income, rent is 900, and all of our bills are 1400.

So the next 3 months are simply going to be impossible.

I am really stressed out, but I do have faith in God. I am waiting to see how God gets me through this crisis. Please pray for my family and I, and I will keep you informed as to how God will help us through this.

There is a small chance that when he is able to walk in 3 months his boss might give him his job back.

Dear Lord, let Your gracious love provide for the needs of this family. Draw good out of this painful trial facing them. Please heal her husband and grant them Your grace that they may take courage and keep trusting in You.

I am happy to say that my husbands boss told him that in 3 months when he is healed, my husband will still have his job.

That is great news, now we just need to get through the next 3 months.

My Mom and Dad are sending us one months rent of 900 dollars even though they are hurting financially themselves. I wish I didn’t have to accept it from them, because they are on a limited income and already have trouble affording medicine each month.

I am hoping to pay them back with our income tax refund.

My income tax refund would be enough to cover everything except the medical expenses, it is just to far away.

My stress level is still very high.

My husband came home from the hospital today and is still in great pain.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers, I see God already working and I am sure it will be okay in the long run.

Lord thankyou for hearing our prayers for vickie and her husband.Please grant them the ability to get through the next three months financially and health wise.Please grant complete healing to the husband and please grant vickie strength to overcome these stressful times Amen
 
I’m glad your parents can manage to help you with the first month’s expenses.
My sympathy for your husband for the pain and for the worry he’s going through.
It will be a very intense time for you both, as he recovers and as you tend his many needs.
May God deepen your relationship and help you both to get through and to recover from this setback. God grant healng and peace.

Well we have survived the first week. Only 11 more to go, before hopefully my husband will be able to walk and work again.

Tomorrow he goes in for a check-up. I hope he is healing like he is supposed to.

His pain is less - thank God!

It is so hard for him to be home bound. He needs to keep his foot up in the air or it swells and gets extremely uncomfortable.

Sunday we did go to church and he put his foot up on another chair. That really helped to cheer him up.

About the fifth day I remembered how much my husband loves his music and put it on in the house.That really cheered him up. It wasn’t long before I noticed my husband and the dog barking to the music.

We are okay financially today. We have 700 dollars and 600 more coming in November. This will get us through most of the month. Then we will have to get through the next two months. We need about 1800. to do this.

I get tips for Christmas with my paper route and in the past I have gotten 2000. I hope and pray that my tips will cover our expenses. I was going to use the money to fix a couple of my bad teeth. That will have to wait until income tax.

My stress has been very high, but thank God, even my stress is going way down.

Our class at church is cooking us meals for the next two weeks, this makes me feel very loved and cared for and encouraged.

I also want to thank everyone for keeping me in your prayers, I know that God is being so merciful to me because of all the prayers I have received from you and others. Thank you.

I really did not know how this was going to work out as I sat in the emergency with my husband. Now I am so glad their is a true and living God that cares even about the little things.

I’m so sorry to hear about your troubles.

Holy Mother Mary please look down upon this couple with an abundance of love and compassion. Please bring them the financial help and security that they need. Please guide their way.
