We are in the middle of week 7. We went to the doctor on Tuesday. The doctor took x-rays and said that it is healing the way it should. Then he said my husband should not return to work until the end of February, and after that he should be on light duty for 2 or 3 months.
I am discouraged. Christmas time is a hard time to be unemployed and this just seems to last forever.
At least my husband and I do get along so having him home is nice except for finances.
My Mom sent us another 2000. dollars which will get us through December and January. She doesn’t have the money so I have to pay her back with our income tax money. I hope I will get enough income tax refund to pay her back and to make it through until my husband can work.
We are starting to get some Christmas tips at my job so hopefully that will fill in what we need. My Mom is also sending my children at least one present each. My husband insist on spending some of our tips on the children, I want to save it for bills. Thankfully he is shopping at thrift stores to keep the price down.
I know God is taking care of us, I am just worn down making it through such a long trial.

We are in week 10.
My husband is walking unaided.
We had a good Christmas, with a ham dinner. My children were happy with the few presents they received. My 13 year old son made an excellent poem and dedication report to my husband including great times they had together and how much he looked up to his father. It actually had my husband in tears, it was so special.
All of the bills are paid through December.
We received about 950. in tips. We had 650. car repairs needed.
My husband is not supposed to return to work until the end of February, However he did call his boss from his last job to go back to work early since we don’t know how we will pay for January’s bills.
We are about 700. short for January.
His boss informed him that even though he would love to hire him back, he is unable to. The company is struggling and had to lay off 2 other employees. There is not enough work for him to hire my husband back. Unfortunately that means we are really unemployed.
I don’t know what to pray for now, either to somehow get the money to make it through January without my husband working so he can continue healing, or for my husband to find a job so we can financially take care of ourselves.
Please keep us in your prayers as we wait for God’s direction in are lives.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
My husband is walking and feeling so much better.
He is in trucking school to become an over the road trucker. His tuition has been waived since he is navy veteran.
He has about 3 weeks until he is on the road and making money.
I had a friend offer us a loan for 1500 dollars which has helped us through January.
I am amazed how God has brought our family through this crises.
Our bills will be about 3 weeks late when we start getting an income and then We need wisdom in how to catch them all up.
My car broke down and I lost my job, so we are depending on my husband to support us now. I am enjoying being a stay at home mother again. I am so grateful. God seems to be fixing all of our problems better than I could have imagined.
The mechanic surprised us by saying he would fix the car and we don’t have to pay him until the end of February.
Once the income tax refund comes in I will be able to pay everyone back who have helped us.
Thank you for your prayers. I praise God for His provision. I thank everyone who has helped us through this crises. I am exited and looking forward to the future.
