The president of the American Civil Liberties Union says polygamy is among the “fundamental rights” that her organization will continue to defend.

During a question-and-answer session after a speech at Yale University, ACLU president Nadine Strossen stated that her organization has “defended the right of individuals to engage in polygamy,” reported AgapePress, noting that the comments cited by the Yale Daily News received little attention.

The student paper said Strossen was responding to a “student’s question about gay marriage, bigamy, and polygamy.”

The ACLU chief said her organization defends “the freedom of choice for mature, consenting individuals,” making it “the guardian of liberty … defend[ing] the fundamental rights of all people.”

The ACLU is in federal court trying to strike down federal funding for an abstinence-based sex education program, calling it an unconstitutional endorsement of religion.

The program, by a group called the Silver Ring Thing, allows teens to sign a voluntary pledge to abstain from sexual activity until marriage and wear a ring as a reminder of the vow.

How does the ACLU determine if the motivation for anyone wanting an abstinence only program is religious or not?

Why polygamy instead of group sex?
Can any feminist tolerant polygamy? where’re they?

I hate to sound uncharitable, but if the ACLU is so utterly stupid that they can’t see that abstinence is **scientifically **the most effective way to prevent the spread of diseases and unwanted pregnancy, they it is their funding that needs pulled.

The ACLU is evil. It attacks the Boy Scouts while defending the pedophiles and child rapists at the North American Man-Boy Love Association.

The ACLU needs destroyed.

Don’t count on feminists making sense.

Feminists have been telling us for decades that no institution should be run without sexual diversity (which they call “gender diversity”) among those running it.

If they were logical, they would vehemently opposed gay marriage, because now we entrusting this important social institution of a family to management that can exclude women.

If I run a company, then I’d better have women involved. Family? Women aren’t important.

Rush Limbaugh once predicted that the fastest 180 degree spin on record would be the gay rights lobby’s abandonment of its pro-abortion position when and if the gay gene was discovered.

Well, I have a similar prediction. For whatever reason, most prospective parents prefer sons over daughters. I’ve read about sex selection science. If this becomes too common place, I predict that feminist will viciously oppose it. While I, too, would oppose sex selection, there is no *logical *way feminists can argue that a woman has an absolute right to murder her child but cannot decide if it is male or female. I emphasized the word logical, because, though they can’t do it logically, they will do it–and they’ll most likely do it with their typical self righteous aire of indignity.

And when the “gay gene” or “sex selection” happens, I’m sure the ACLU will be right there fighting for its backwards, misguided agenda.
