A cultural icon has passed away. 😦

I remember watching the old Batman reruns on television. My favorite villain was Vincent Price as Egghead, who said things like “eggcellent.”😛

I’m probably the only one here who remembers him in his “slumming” days, when he did movies like “Lady Chatterley’s Lover.”

Yep. That was from my sinful past. 🤷

I also remember his voice as the Mayor Of Quahog in Family Guy. RIP.👍
 
The Comic Code Authority is what turned Batman from the grim avenger of the night into the campy superhero who fought crime during the day and had Tarzan-like adventures through time. The Batman TV series was right in line with that attitude. DC fixed him in the early 1970s, around the same time that Gwen Stacy took a header off a bridge…the Bronze Age was in full swing now.
