Ad of self-claimed priest who will marry

I came across a strange advertisement from a man who says he is a Catholic priest, his parish being Good Shepherd Catholic Church, who will perform Catholic marriages for people who are divorced without an annulment (among others). Obviously he is some sort of parasite, though exactly what kind I do not know. His ad is at:

This is not the RCC. This is the “American Catholic Church.” They allow just about anything. This Bob Allen guy is not even at this “church.”

What in the world is the American Catholic Church?

The ACC claims to be a split-off from the Old Catholic Church, which itself split from the Catholic Church back in 1871 over the issue of papal infallibility. Back then, among those leaving the Church for the Old Catholic Church was the archbishop of Utrecht. Through him, the Old Catholic Church claims apostolic succession and valid priests. Splinters from the original Old Catholic Church try to link to that history to justify their claim to being Catholic.

The Old Catholic Church, and its putative children, have gone through numerous divisions, and numerous changes of doctrine. They are not in communion with Rome.

Well, that was…strange.
I followed the links on that site for a bit, and found myslef reading a site called: www.rentapriest.com

I dunno…I feel like, if you are going to “rent” a [supposed] member of the clergy, that you would be better off coming over here, and letting my cat (an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church) perform the ceremony…You’d be just about as “married”, & she will work for Purina Cat Chow, which is a whole lot less expensive than this guy is going to charge.
(The correct answers are “Meow”, “me-meowwee”, and “yowza”. She bites your ankles, & presto: you go home just as… single as you were when you walked in the room).

Rent a priest??? Sheesh, that’s just weird.
