Has Adam and Eve been forgiven the trauma in the flesh? For the wound is not superficial.
Certainly. Why would you think that this trauma, now corrected through the salvific action of Christ’s death and resurrection, has NOT been forgiven?Has Adam and Eve been forgiven the trauma in the flesh? For the wound is not superficial.

“Many” people think Elvis Presley is still alive. . .(No, I’m not one of them).Tantum ergo
thanks for the reply
I don’t think that they were not forgiven, but many do.
Garyjohn2It’s the church’s tradition that they are saints in heaven, among the other old testament saints.
Aelred MinorThey are, or at least Adam commonly is, often imagined as having gone to heaven after a long stay in the Limbo of the Fathers, but to my knowledge this is simply speculation and we really don’t know.

You can only point people toward the Church for answers; hopefully they’ll be open to hearing them.
Joe KelleyMy calendar lists Saints Adam and Eve on Christmas Eve. The second Reading for the Office of Readings - LOTH - for Holy Saturday is an ancient sermon which describes Jesus seeking out Adam in the Limbo Ancients [Where OT souls awaited the opening of Heaven]. Adam then accompanies Him in leading the souls to Heaven.
The Eastern Churches may have something on this. You might try asking on that forum.
Ah, but you see, “Where Christ is, there is the Catholic Church”. (St. Ignatius, about AD 96 I believe).Tantum ergo

No, you point people to Jesus, then they will seek out to share in their new found salvation in Christ, in a Church. The Church is not the attraction, it is the Lord Jesus Christ, that is the attraction. To know the Lord God, is the attraction.
No, if you want to be closed minded, then you have no need to talk to anyone but a Catholic as though only Catholics can know God. Your statement by the way, is a huge arrogant assumption on your part, looking at none-Catholics as lesser beings. I don’t have to be Catholic to know the Lord my God through Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. Since when do Catholic have the power to control that? It is strictly in your view that one has to be Catholic.Ah, but you see, “Where Christ is, there is the Catholic Church”. (St. Ignatius, about AD 96 I believe).
The Church contains all Truth because Christ is in Her and She in Him. Since you aren’t Catholic you might not understand this, but this is a Catholic site. We were discussing Adam and Eve, so please don’t try to tell us ‘what to do’ as if (on a Catholic site) our adherence to Catholic teachings is wrong. It isn’t. Thank you.
Yours is the ‘assumption’ friend. I do not choose to take what you have incorrectly attributed to me as ‘arrogance’, nor did I call non-Catholics lesser beings. No, if you want to be closed minded, then you have no need to talk to anyone but a Catholic as though only Catholics can know God. Therefore don’t have a site that is open to the public if you don’t want to hear what others have to say that doesn’t agree with you or meet your approval. Since when do Catholic have the power to control that? Your arrogant approval for the Knowledge of God, is not required.
Your Welcome
