Certainly. Why would you think that this trauma, now corrected through the salvific action of Christ’s death and resurrection, has NOT been forgiven?Has Adam and Eve been forgiven the trauma in the flesh? For the wound is not superficial.

It’s the church’s tradition that they are saints in heaven, among the other old testament saints.

They are, or at least Adam commonly is, often imagined as having gone to heaven after a long stay in the Limbo of the Fathers, but to my knowledge this is simply speculation and we really don’t know.

My calendar lists Saints Adam and Eve on Christmas Eve. The second Reading for the Office of Readings - LOTH - for Holy Saturday is an ancient sermon which describes Jesus seeking out Adam in the Limbo Ancients [Where OT souls awaited the opening of Heaven]. Adam then accompanies Him in leading the souls to Heaven.
The Eastern Churches may have something on this. You might try asking on that forum.

So if the Church sees that those who originally permitted sin to come into the world, and all sons and daughters of man are born into the world in the condition of sin, are forgiven. Then why does the Church seem to spend so much effort to point out sins in the world? If all who are born into the world of original sin then who’s fault is that?

I understand your point, but I don’t think Limbo theology proves much of anything. Jesus told the thief on the cross that He would see him in paradise, that’s sufficient for me on that.

The Church contains all Truth because Christ is in Her and She in Him. Since you aren’t Catholic you might not understand this, but this is a Catholic site. We were discussing Adam and Eve, so please don’t try to tell us ‘what to do’ as if (on a Catholic site) our adherence to Catholic teachings is wrong. It isn’t. Thank you.
