Admit to one fault you have

Let’s see…

I struggle with gossip. It’s a daily battle.

I’m judgmental.

I’m impatient.

Grammatical errors of other posters drive me bananas! 😉 I don’t mind spelling errors.

I’m lazy when it comes to cooking, cleaning and just about any other chore. As a result my house is a disaster zone most of the time, and my son had a smoothie for dinner tonight.

I could spend a lot less time on the internet and in front of TV, and more time being a better mother to my son (e.g, cook real dinner instead of smoothies).

I text, eat, do my makeup and just about anything else while driving. 😛 I have to admit I don’t regret that one.

People have listed being glass-half-empty person as a fault, and I’m certainly that kind of person, but I dont think of it as a fault. I call myself a realist.

Ohh gosh, I have a long list but I’ll only name a few lol.

I do very well in my college studies, and as a result…I tend to be rather arrogant. There are certainly times when my head needs to be deflated. 😊

I swear like a sailor.

I’m a glass half empty kinda girl too…
Oh yes, I know this one all too well…

But really, my number one fault is laziness and procrastination. Definitely something I need to work on a lot.

Me too…My Son had Lucky Charms for dinner tonight. I was way to lazy tonight to argue with my son about eating his dinner. I did make a dinner but, dinners with my little boy are such a battle, I was way to lazy tonight to battle him over eating his dinner. He asked for Lucky Charms and so I gave him Lucky Charms, in which he commenced to only eat the marshmallows.

I confess, I as a mother, fed my son Lucky Charm marshmallows for dinner tonight

sloth - I can always find a reason for not doing housework, and reading instead. Cleaning for the sake of cleaning is not my thing.
That’s me.

I also have a habit of white lying.

I’m horrible at committing to things.

I hate making decisions.

I’m painfully shy, yet I’m prideful. (Weird combo I know. I’m shy because I care so much about what people think.)

I have always had a very placid personality…
And I get extremely frustrated that I just can’t get angry…
It has been one of many reasons I have had life difficulties ,
So… If you have anger problems, could you explain just what happens, and how you feel from the very beginning of becoming angry , why can’t you stop being angry…
Why can’t you just walk away and take a cold shower…
Feel free to p m me if that makes you feel better

  • can’t stand haughtiness, drives me mad
  • severely irritated when people over use personal pronouns: my, my, I, I…
  • judgemental

I’ve got a bad temper.😦

I once actually refused to move my car and told the police officer to “write the ticket”

I was dropping my oldest off at kindergarten. It was a no parking zone, but standing was permitted. It was very icy, so I parked, and walked my son to the door.

The officer said, “Ma’am you need to move”

“I’m sorry, Its icy so I’m walking him to the door”

“Ma’am MOVE THE CAR.”

Do you expect a 5 year old to traverse an icy side walk on his own?

“Ma,am MOVE THE CAR!!!”

“NO!! write me a ticket!!!”

This was an NYPD officer. I didn’t get the ticket. 😊

I’m normally pretty shy…but apparently capable of turning into a pretty ferocious Mamma Bear.

That’s why I really liked the movie Brave I guess.

I’d rather read six books in a row (over a 2 day period – natural speed reader) than do the dishes. So, although I love to cook, since being widowed and living alone, I just don’t cook unless I’m taking food to others ( a group of widows and widowers who CAN’T cook much at all). Then it’s two days before I’ll wash the pans and put any plates, etc… into the dishwasher. That’s because I wash every thing in the kitchen I’ve used in very, very hot water and soap, and THEN put them into the dishwasher to run them in really, really hot water! (cuts down on having colds, at least!! LOL). And I really hate doing dishes, even though I like a very clean house! Real conflict there! But in my reading area, only see the kitchen once or twice a day, and avoid looking at that full sink for a couple of days!

I’m somewhat judgmental about others – on a personal basis. When I get to know someone, and I see them being self-important, or extremely critical of others, acting as if they always know better, and telling me how awful I am, I get very upset and hurt about them, and then I get really judgmental about them. I’m very slow to get angry, and rarely carry a grudge more than a couple of days, but when I do get angry, watch out!! I have a true Irish/Scotch temper!!! :D:

My worst fault in the past year is spending 5 or 6 days a week at home alone, and reading 12 hours a day! I LOVE to read, and have over 200 books, and can go through all of them in about 2 - 3 weeks, and then go back and start the whole bunch over again! If I won the lottery, I’d pay off my home, make a 4 season sunroom and buy another 200 books just to have some new ones to read!! (I’ve gone through the local library twice – and they have nothing new that I don’t already have!!) I also have 96 books on an ereader as well!

I do too, I used to teach English and Journalism enrichment classes and I’ve been told I have english teacher syndrome. I also lack tact. I just say what I have to say and because it takes A LOT to hurt my feeling or offend me I sometimes assume everyone has such a thick skin. I can also be impulsive, I’m the person who will drive up the coast or jump on a plane or bus spur of the moment.
Same here; I often ask “did you mean ‘they’re?’ In that sentence?” Just because it droves me up the wall!

“Admit to one fault you have”…well…umm…it is that I don’t admit to my faults in public unless it is totally unavoidable.

Oh Come on VivienneJ … We Wont tell anyone…😉
Uuuhhh…next you’ll tell me that the Internet is a totally private means of communication. For all I know my boss is a lurker on this site (oh, wait, this is a Catholic site and I doubt that either of them would be here…but still…)

It is Private Vivienne …it really really is… only your closest billion friends will ever know.

There is a reason why South Africans have certain feelings about Australians, Phil 😉 😛
hahahaha… whatever could that be ? because we play better Union ? Cricket ?

Well I’v heard nothing bad about your Countymen…there are a few here now…

A lot around Perth… and even here in Brisbane…

If your not Joking then tell me by P.M I wont bite…lol

I think there may be more South Africans in some parts than there are Australians.

There seem to be some tensions around sport, indeed…but as I’m not a huge follower, except for being glad if my country wins, I’m not the best person to ask…and I’m sticking to the one fault I’m prepared to admit to is that I do not admit my faults in public 😃 😉
