Admit to one fault you have

Ohhh… that’s my thing too. Laziness. Maybe it’s a Queensland thing

Also gluttony. I love food and I can never just have one glass of wine. I feel I dodged a bullet by having a good metabolism, but maybe it would be better for me, had I not.

Those are my top two flaws… but there are others too many to list.
I think it must be the heat in Queensland - I can take the heat, I just can’t do a thing while it is hot.

I

I am easily offended
Very shy,
I tend to procrastinate a lot,
I often feel guilty when speaking up,

I have trouble speaking up. I soak everything up until I absolutely can’t take more and explode. So I am on both extremes on the spectrum of just taking everything from everyone and being able to become furious. There is no healthy in-between.

well the rain has cooled it a bit…south east corner at least.
IT is a damp and windy Australia Day - which is the Antipodean equivalent of Thanksgiving. I’m off to wave my Union Jack at the locals and annoy them. It is a good thing to remind them of their origins.

The first white Australians were hand picked by the best judges of men’s character than Britain had at the time.

I used to have the same problem. I learned to overcome this when I joined the Parish Council. The first year I was almost dead silent, but did a lot of observing and learning. When the second year came around there was a subject that needed some amount of discussion and though I was the only one of two people that agreed with the Pastor I decided to speak my mind.

I took the time to rehearse what I wanted to say, and even imagined what others might say that could offend me. I went through the various responses I might have in my mind, weeded out the not so intelligent ones and went well prepared to discuss the matter in question.

You could try something like this with a friend if you like. Maybe there is something that someone says or does that makes you feel bad, but you have never told them. Think about it and figure out how you might share this feeling you have. It is good to remember to tell the person you understand they might not realize that this issue bothers you, but you want to discuss it.

Just a possible idea for you to think on.

Well we will celebrate by first going into town to Q PAC to see the rocky horror …
Then BBQ with friends

When my parents migrated to Australia in 53 , they were discriminated against like other…
My dad would get back at them by saying…well at least I didn’t come in ball and chain…

I procrastinate. With everything. I put off getting up, getting in the shower, eating, going to bed.
I’m often late for things.
I’m a perfectionist.
I’m easily incited to gossip.
I dislike when certain people act like I’m ignorant and I will seethe interiorly about it.
I don’t think I’m as sympathetic or empathetic as I should be or want to be; plus I often don’t know the right thing to say and the thing that is on the tip of my tongue is often insensitive. So I something stupid or I say nothing.
The only people I’m truly comfortable saying “I love you” to are my cats.

The one fault I have is that I do not love God with my whole heart. If only I did that, no faults could develop, nor cracks, nor canyons, nor gaps of any kind separating me from God. All my faults can be summarized in one: I don’t love as Jesus loved.

I’m of ball and chain stock. 👍 We’ve celebrated with a countery at the local hotel and cake. (It’s also my husbands birthday today). I surprised him and my son with a Story Bridge climb this morning which they said was brilliant. They got rained on a little bit but the clouds did part for a while to give a pretty good view up and down the river.

That is brilliant … Would love to climb the Bridge… I’m northside and while parking Helen new Prius, at Q PAC ,she suggested parking really close to a concrete pillar so not to get bumped by a car door…so while parking really close… You guessed it… I rubbed the pillar…
Not happy jan 😦

Happy birthday to hubby,

I would say that my fatal flaw is stubbornness. I have a tendency to get very set on something and it’s very hard to change my mind. Even then, I have a very hard time just letting an argument go. I also tend to react to being pushed by pushing back harder, and that doesn’t always make for the easiest social relationships. It’s something I developed as a defence mechanism in school, and I’ve been trying to mediate for years.

I admit that I use an over abundence of smilies.

I believe that the LAMEstream media is behind this.

I have a hard time pay attention when other people are talking and daydream alot.

I sometimes fly off the handle at others, especially when intimidated.

I can be impulsive.

I forget to turn things off or put things away, and hate it when I get criticized for it:mad:.

I struggle with certain anxieties and sensitivities (also easily offended).

I procrastinate and put things off every once in a while.

I don’t talk much.

I sometimes compare myself with others and think that I’m better than them in terms of discipline, character, piety, and holiness.

I have a hard time dealing with people with different points of view and circumstantial upbringings.

I am currently holding some grudges.

And I have difficulty accepting reality sometimes.

I like how people started listing more than one fault of theirs. I have a lot too!

I am too proud. Even during the times in my life that I had nothing to be proud about I was still very prideful.

I am a glutton. I have to go on a strict diet and exercise regiment every few months because of this, so I do not become too overweight.

I smoke. I quit for a month and a half, but last week I fell off the wagon again :o

I can be moody and a bit of a grouch sometimes.

I am, without a doubt, too self centered. I like doing things for others, but I think too much about MY problems, MY Time, What I am going to do about x,y,z and so fourth. I heard that you get less selfish in your early 30s so, I am hoping that will be the case for me, as I am 29.

Oh yeah, that reminds me I think too much. Sometimes it takes me a long time to make a decision or a move. Probably part of the reason why I am still single, but I am working on that :gopray2:

There is one thing I can think of, that both of you do have in common…Carcharodon carcharias! :bigyikes:
As far as my one fault…:hmmm:I can’t think of any…😉

Peace, Mark
Had to Google that one… big White Teeth looking at me,
and I'm a swimmer at the caliber of a concrete block..

In that case, Phil, please don’t try swimming near the Great Barrier Reef. In fact, I’d recommend you don’t go in above mid-calf!! You just might run into a Great White with a great set of teeth!
