Hi all,
I’m feeling an urge to get more politically active - not to run for office or support a particular candidate yet, but to be involved in general and making myself heard. That said, I wan’t to make sure I don’t do or get involved in anything the Church would frown upon.
I know not to directly support a candidate who supports and intrinsic evil, and to favor candidates who I feel will most reflect Catholic moral teaching and aims. Beyond that, is there anything I need to be careful about? For instance, am I free to work directly for either party, even knowing each party may end up supporting candidates who support intrinisicly evil policies? What are the general guildelines for being involved in political activities? Are there any specific directives I need to be aware of and following? Anyand all advice welcome!
Thanks!
