No. gender-neutral language is fine in spots where it makes sense. It’s wrong when speaking of God or in other situations where it’s clear that the intent is for the male pronoun.And if by saying “sisters” the OP means that gender neutral garbage he’s right all around.
In the example given “brothers” in latin is not correct. He is speaking to males and females. It’s just that in latin that’s how you would say it.
