Whos to say it wasnt all the prayers to Krishna that brought Communism down?

If youre making reference to Fatima, the third secret was written/revealed after the fact, no prophecy took place. It wasnt the Rosary that brought Communism down.
Or to the flying spaghetti monster. I used to be atheist. I am familiar with the tactics employed against Christians. You are not saying anything new.

I was not making any reference to Fatima whatsoever.

I think the key to getting rid of Boko Haram isnt prayer, but military force. As the saying goes, “God helps those who help themselves.”
Prayer without faith is “vain repetition.” Jesus states over and over that “thy faith has healed you.” He works His miracles in the presence of faith. It doesn’t have to be great faith - a “mustard seed” will do. But He does not force His will on anyone. He did few miracles in Nazareth because of hostile unbelief - it was not due to any impediment on His part.

With Boko Haram, pray first, last and always. If God chooses to use military force to stop this organization, He will move someone to send them in.

In this most recent instance, the Bishop in Nigeria reported his vision of Christ handing him a sword which turned into a Rosary and said “Boko Haram is gone!” three times. He reported this when it happened. Then merely weeks later, Boko Haram is definitely on the decline and many of their hostages have been freed. If you want to see that as coincidence, that’s your rights, but I see that as a sign followed by a miracle.

I dont live in Nigeria, so its hard to see whether BH is growing or declining. But if you live there, it isnt hard to see BH already declining for other reasons and then step in and claim a victory for the Rosary as it unfolds. Its suspicious that this vision didn’t happen a year ago, for example, only now that BH already started to decline.

As a side thought, Ive never seen the Rosary act so quickly within just a few days, no matter how many are praying. Theres more people praying for the end of abortion and it hasnt ceased in decades. Just more support that this wasnt the Rosary that brought down BH, in my view.

I was replying mostly to your “Just go with what is most powerful.”

So, given that the bishop said, “As soon as I received the sword, it turned into a rosary,” adding that Jesus then told him three times: “Boko Haram is gone," I fail to see how the rosary is the “wrong tool” to bring down Boko Haram.
But, was it really Jesus, or just what the Nigerian bishop perceived to be Jesus (a dream)?

You fail to see the relationship of “what is most powerful” in relation to the situation. For brutal militia groups, you go with what is most powerful. For swatting flies, you go with what is most practical and efficient. 👍

Given only the choice between these two options, I assume you would number Stalin’s regime among “brutal militia groups” before you would number it among “flies”. Stalin reaffirmed that he only respected force when he asked, “The Pope? How many divisions does he have?”

The USSR? Where is it today? Did “most powerful” military force bring down the Berlin Wall? or was it something else?

It wasnt the Rosary. The Fatima message was “revealed” (or written) in 2000, after the fact. Anyone can write something after the fact and claim it was due to whatever they are looking to attribute the success to.

Who (besides you, I mean) said anything about Fatima? And what does Fatima have to do with the dismantling of the Berlin Wall?

Has there ever before been any apparitions of Christ with the Holy Rosary, or have they all been Marian before this?
