There are a lot of strange, seemingly connected things happening recently. The Pope is attacked at the Christmas Eve Mass, and then meets with his attacker to forgive her. Pope John Paul II met with Ali Agca to forgive him.

Lots of news concerning the apparitions of Medjugorje. The shrine at Fatima being vandalized with the words “Islam”, “Muslim” and “moon”.

I don’t know what to make of everything, but here is some strange stuff Ali Agca, who was supposedly part of the third secret of Fatima, has written today, on the 13th of the month, just like the Fatima apparitions were all on the 13th of their respective months.

Ali Agca is indeed a very enigmatic historical figure. I wonder if he even has any genuine memories of the events preceeding the assassination attempt, or of the event itself. That he himself was not killed on that day has always puzzled me. If he was, as many believe, an agent acting for behind the scenes actors, why was he allowed to live? Perhaps there was no need to kill him if certain mind manipulations were employed on him and, in fact, the man is a complete bank as to the entire happening. We must be on guard for his handlers trying to promulgate utter fiction in order to make a quick buck. I do not think Ali Agca has the slightest recollection as to why he attempted the assassination. It will remain a mystery.

This strikes me as an odd claim. Do you have personal knowledge of Agca that leads you to doubt his memory?

Usually a relevant conjecture will have some basis in known facts. Otherwise, I suppose we could make completely baseless guesses on what flavor cannoli Agca ate prior to his famous act in 1981. We can infer from the fact that Agca is promising answers that it’s unlikely he has amnesia.
