Out of curiosity, where do Christians draw the line on what constitutes the truth and what constitutes falsehood where the Hadeeth are concerned?
Please remember, Christians believe Hadeeth is not divine truth but merely a history about the person of Muhammad.

Truth and falsehood about the historical Muhammad is like truth and falsehood about the historical Odyseus found in Homer’s poems.

You have just declared that something which Aisha (ra) reportedly said and which is written only in the hadeeth is a FACT.

Well, here is another thing that Aisha (ra) said according to the hadeeth:

She testified that there is no God to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Messenger of God.

Do you accept all that she said as fact?
Hamba2han, first you must be aware that Hadeeth contains both historical facts and myths. Second, yes, we accept as a fact that Aisha indeed testified the Islamic Shahada but we believe she was wrong to do so.

Sahih Bukhari
According to Aisha:

the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).
According to Ursa ibn al-Zubayr:

The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with 'Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).
