I haven’t looked into the matter but you raise a valid point. Perhaps the Catholic Church is present in the sacraments of these communities. Valid priesthood = valid sacraments.

That said only the visible Catholic Church and specifically the diocese of Rome is guaranteed indefectibility. Thus to remain visibly separated from communion with the teaching office of the Papacy is at best unwise and to be discouraged.
