That is what Muslims say. Why agree with them? After all, Allah is greater than we can imagine!

bro, yes Jesus is the Son of God, he is also the Son of Men, and he is our Lord! Take note, if our brother moslems believe that Jesus our Lord is the Son Of God, therefore they will believe that he is The Lord. We should pray for them, not to condemn them. We Christians should have patience in dealing with them, since The Lord our God, told to us that if somebody throw a stone to us, throw them back with Bread. The bread, is the word of God, the word of Our lord Jesus Christ. Amen

John 3:16" For God so Loved the World that He gave his Only Begotten, whosever believe in Him shall not Perish but have everlasting Life"

Proverbs 1:15-16 “My son, do not walk in the way with them, keep your foot from their path; For their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed Blood”

I am sorry, but since I don’t regard Muhammed’s god as being a good person, I do not wish to be with him in eternity.
So, May Allah keep you away from Him for eternity.

I told you that we Love Allah more than ourselves, so you should expect that I will consider your word against Him as if it is against me and my father, nay I will consder it more offended than that.
Let me tell you this: the wages of sin is death. So God has always said. You cannot clean yourself. Atonement was needed for all of us. The atoning blood is only in Christ. Because He is God He alone can atone for all mankind, like Thorwals also said.
So, why christians die if you are truthful?
Don’t they accept christ and thus they are supposed to be forgiven?

I see more conflict in your religion than logic.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
  1. Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion, and He is Able to do all things.
  2. Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;
  3. Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: “Can you see any rifts?”
  4. Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you in a state of humiliation and worn out.
  5. And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayâtin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire.
  6. And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allâh) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.
  7. When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth.
  8. It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: “Did no warner come to you?”
  9. They will say: “Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: ‘Allâh never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.’”
  10. And they will say: “Had we but heared or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!”
  11. Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire.
  12. Verily! Those who fear their Lord unseen (i.e. they do not see Him, nor His Punishment in the Hereafter, etc.), theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).
If you read the Old Testament you will see numerous prophesies about Yeshua the Messiah. You will also learn about covenant history, a concept that is the center of Judaism and Christianity but totally unknown for Muslims. Its the center for a good reason. God is ever faithful… He still loves His chosen people.

Read the New Testament as a minimum. Alright?
If you break the covenant of the Most Great, then you are indeed not worthy of any respect.

Can you break the covenant of your master in the company?

If you respect the people more than God, and you are faithful with people more than God then you are disbeliever.

God doesn’t need you, God is The Rich, The Praise Worthy.

If Allah loved you, think not that He is in need of you or that He will be limited by you, Glorified and Exalted is Allah Above that, He is Allah The One The Irresistable.
  1. O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me.
  2. And believe in what I have sent down (this Qur’ân), confirming that which is with you, [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and buy not with My Verses a small price, and fear Me and Me Alone.
  3. And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth * while you know (the truth).
  4. And perform Prayer, and give charity, and bow down along with those who bow down.
  5. Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allâh) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah)]! Have you then no sense?
  6. And seek help in patience and As-Salât (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khâshi’ûn *.
  7. (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return.
  8. O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you to the worlds.
  9. And fear a Day (of Judgement) when a person shall not avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from him nor will compensation be taken from him nor will they be helped. **.

Eh no… I didn’t say three beings. I said One God, One substance, three Persons totally united. We call God the Great Mystery. The Trinity is a mystery. And sorry, but because you cant fathom God’s inner life with your finite brain does not mean that it does not make any sense. It only means you are a finite creature, God is infinite. If you were to contain the mystery you would be scattered like stardust all over the universe.
To the biggest religion in the world the Trinity makes absolute sense. God is the creator of logic matematics so He makes sense. Christianity is not against science and we can handle the scrutiny of science on the world. Unlike the Muslim world where religious-criticism cannot be tolerated… of course… because that would mean the end of Islam.

The Moslems think that God has to be totally simple in order to be true. But thats an assumption which precisely does not make sense. God is not confused… you might be, but your confusion does not alter the being of God.

God is ONE. ONE SUBSTANCE. THREE PERSONS in complete unity and oneness. This is how the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has revealed Himself. He revealed Himself most fully in Christ. Actually: Christ revealed the HEART of God. The Gospel thereofre teach us: God is LOVE… We know that allah is not God because allah is morally inadequate by any ethical and moral standard, why also the Muslim world is one of suffering and darkness-

The one who does not have the Son does not have the Father.
Therefore He was born… because He loved us and wanted to make us children. In Christ we say ABBA-FATHER. We are personally in relationship with Him. HE acts intimately in our life… He is not an abstractum like your allah who never answers prayers and whose favour is conditioned by your good deeds. Do you know how a Father loves?

You remain slaves, according to your self.

Your scripture testifies to a god who was very influenced by the passions and lusts of men of flesh, and also by the same ignorance that was in them, as I have already illustrated by means of Muhamads false notion of the Christian teaching about the Trinity. If you have any scholarly honesty you will admit that is a problem and you have an explanation problem.

Your revelation is a contradiction to all the rest of covenant history. Your allah is no better than a criminal who even changes his mind at every season.

But God has sworn and does not repent: He is faithful, even when Israel is not faithful. He remains faithful because He cannot go against His own nature and promises… He has not changed his chosen ones for gentiles. Nor placed an ever- sinning non-jew as the seal of Israels prophets. To claim so would be absurd.

I will remind you that King David was not allowed to built the temple for God because he has fought in wars/ had blood on his hands. Please read the Old Testament. Only his son who was a king of peace was allowed to built the temple in Jerusalem. Yet you say that a killing rapist is the seal of prophets.
Shame on that!
I appologize that was my mistake, I meant to say 3 persons = 1 being, 3=1 doesn’t make sense. Unless ofcourse you mean each person represents 1/3 of the being or essense as you put it, that is to say the being is not complete in each of them, the esssense is only complete when they unite, but how do they unite? its not a physical unity as we know they are seperate individual persons.

you only believe it because it is written somewhere, you havn’t proved it to yourself, in fact it is not possible to prove the trinity so you believe on blind faith alone by taking the word of someone simply becuase they said it.

The christian view logically flawed,
you say that you believe God is 1 being but 3 persons
in other words 1 God =3 beings, or 1=3 which does not make any sense at all.

Perhaps what you mean to say is
1 God = 1 out of 3, in other words 1=1 which makes more sense.
God is Triune. 3 persons of 1 substance. It is not the easiest concept to understand but that is why it is a Divine Mystery.

Bism al-Ab w al-Ibn w al-Ruh al-Qudus, Allahu al-WAHID:

Thanks for starting this interesting thread, Slave of God. I am not a Muslim, but I can still respect at least the degree of your devotion, and the opening post contained some very beautiful lines.

It seems like an obvious topic, though. Is this your form of proselyzing, or is there some other reason for this thread? As you can see, threads about Islam quickly degenerate or go away from the original topic.

To Famdigy and anyone else who is so inclined: For the millionth time, please understand the Trinity is NOT a math problem. You will not “solve” it by reminding us that 3 and 1 are different numbers. We know that. We don’t care. That has nothing to do with the fact that Jesus Himself revealed to His disciples the Trinitarian formula as it continues to be believed and taught today. THAT is why we believe in it. When Muhammad says this or that about the will of Allah, do you ask him “Why, Muhammad? Why does Allah behave this way or say this thing”? I don’t think you do.

What you should understand is that during the time of Christ many of His followers DID ask such questions of Him, because they could not bring themselves to believe that someone who is grown can be born once more of water and spirit, or that wine and bread given to them at the last supper are the blood and flesh of Christ which they are to drink and eat. But so it is! (That is why we say “Amen” to these things; “so it is/so be it!”)

My point here is that for hundreds of years these highly improbable doctrines have been questioned by those within the faith and outside of it, and yet they are held to because they are the teachings of Christ and the traditions passed down from the apostles. As Simon Peter answered the Lord in John 6:68, after Christ had asked if the twelve wished to leave as so many others had: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.” In the face of that fact, any doubts raised from Muslims or anyone else don’t matter at all.

All of these questions and accusations are all very ancient indeed (older than the faith that this thread is actually supposed to be about, in fact), and yet the beliefs themselves remain. When you say “How can such things be! They have no logic!”, we are reminded of Jesus’ blessing of Simon (Peter) in Matthew: “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” It is not logic that persuades us, but the experience of the risen Christ. But we might also ask you what makes sense about Muhammad ascending to heaven on horse, or splitting the moon, or any such things in the Islamic faith? Well, if it’s a faith, then both of us are in some sense believing in things that “don’t make sense” to the other. We will not give up our belief in the holy trinity. Ever. Poke at it all you want with your calculators and your irrelevant Islamic epistemology. It stands because Christ is who He said He is.

Shall we give you the Arabic identity now :p
But we might also ask you what makes sense about Muhammad ascending to heaven on horse, or splitting the moon, or any such things in the Islamic faith? Well, if it’s a faith,

As usual, well said dzheremi.

:blessyou:

Excellent! 👍

Just as you believe on blind faith that jibril revealed the qu’ran to mo…
Less than blind faith because facts prove otherwise. The spirit of the Quran never identifies itself in 23 years of revelation and the hadith that relates the story of the first visitation makes clear Mohammed was very frightened about what attacked him because the spirit did not identify itself that after running home in abject fear, a relative of his wife says it is the same spirit that spoke to Moses in the burning bush. It is either intellectual dishonesty or wilfull ignorance for Moslems to claim the spirit is the Angel Gabriel.

AMEN brother! Preach it, Halleluja.
That is what this all comes down to. We trust Jesus from Nazareth mainly because He is trustworthy, He is Good, He had the authority and the wisdom and no one, not even on this thread, has been able to validly point a finger at Him and say: “See! He sinned!”.
He didn’t sin, ever.
Muhammad on the other hand… in him and his god I won’t trust, because he was not trustworthy by any standard of the word. How could I, as a woman and as a member of the human race, follow a man who:
  • wasn’t sure of his own revelation and was thus on the verge of despair
  • made endless wars and raids
  • had severel wives, even a 9 year old child
  • raped women, among others two Jewish girls whose whole tribe he had slaughtered that same day.
  • who didn’t know the basic Christian teachings on the Trinity and thus passed his own ignorance onto his god and the revelation that today is held as divine by so many, when in fact this one point is enough to undermine it all…
  • who cursed his opponents
  • who contradicted all of covenant history and made God a liar as he said God has abandoned His chosen people and is no loner faithful…
A Muslim can object then and say: Truth does not have to be good.
But then the lie that is good would be superior to the truth that was bad.
Or at least, the human conscience and humanistic ethics is far superior to your god’s moral.
But if we hold that Christianity is true with its historically documented sacred texts and history, then we cannot also say that the spirit of islam is true. Because they are opposites.

God is Love. Then let LOVE be the measure of all things. For that, we begin and end in the Heart of Christ.

Yes… also its seems that a Moslem’s assumption is that simplicity equals truth.
But every creation of God in the world, even the simplest leaf on a tree is defined by two traits: complexity and order.
They assume the God who created the universe has to be simple in His essense but that is an absurdity to me. Everything in creation points to the Creator and tells us precisely that God is a God of order, complexity, beauty, greatness and harmony…

Why are Muhammad and Allah so similar in the way they act? Can you tell us?

Where is your proof that Muhammad was sent to all mankind? The Quran was written for his followers only. It speaks badly of the unbelievers and even endorses violence towards them. So how can it be meant for everyone? Didn’t he want Arabia only for himself and his followers and he expelled everyone else? How is that universal?
There is no similarity between Allah and Mohammad, Allah is much more Higher and Greater than Mohammad and it is Allah who Honered Mohammad and Enlightened him.

Mohammad is Allah’s messenger, so he had to work according to Allah’s order, and he had to struggle in the Name of the Truth against falsehoods and their generators.

The Quran was revealed so that people who seek the truth will be guided thereby.

Criminals hate the Quran because it destroys their deeds, what can we do for them if they don’t want to repent and leave the errors.

The Quran came so that people would repent to God and become good,

The Quran came to show mankind the way of Paradise.

Regarding the Arabia and expelling the disbelievers out:

I can show you how some people here in this thread claimed that prophet Mohammad PAPBUH was idolator.

so what would happen if the prophet didn’t clarify the message of God and made the Area that he prepared for the world to be clean from disbelief and falsehood?

Also, he became the king of Arabia, and he built it up with the Truth revealed upon him from God, so to keep what he has achieved by the help of God and His Mercy, he order that the source of lies should leave his Kingdome, The Kingdome of The Truth.

Regarding the proof that prophet Muhammad Prayer And Peace Be Upon Him and his family was sent to all mankind:

He conveyed the Message of God for the biggest 3 Empires arround Arabia: Roman Empire, Persian Empire and Al-Habash in Africa, then his followers conveyed his message to the other areas as he said to them: “Convey about me, even if it would be one verse.”

The Quran speaks for all people:

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
  1. O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allâh through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allâh is Ever an All Watcher over you.
  2. O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allâh is that who is pious. Verily, Allâh is All Knowing, All Aware.
Mohammad Prayer And Peace Be Upon Him and his family said : "O people, verily, your Lord is One, and your father is one, all of you are from Adam and Adam (was created) from dust, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action, Did I convey?

O Allah be witness".

And Jesus promised that those who are faithful to him will be with him and the Father in Heaven. You have just proven my point.
All muslims believe that those who followed Jesus PBUH will be with him in Paradise, because Jesus is a prophet and he was the way to God for his people.

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
[The Bible, Mathew 5:17-20]"

Have you ever heared trinity in the previous Holy Books or is it a new concept that intorduced by the chruch?

May Allah guide you and me to Himself and protect us from the fictions.

Invoke God, He is The Guider, The Light.
Don’t you need Him, so invoke Him and He will Honer you.

Blessed be Allah, The Lord of the Worlds.

so what would happen if the prophet didn’t clarify the message of God and made the Area that he prepared for the world to be clean from disbelief and falsehood?
Something about this reasoning does not make sense to me. Muhammad had to order all Jews, Christians, and others out of Arabia lest Allah’s message be “unclear”? What does one have to do with the other? Why couldn’t the Qur’an and the religion built upon it stand among the religions that were already there, particularly if it was convinced of its own pedigree? What would non-Muslims have to do with distorting the message of the Qur’an when they did not take a thing from it in terms of guidance or ritual in the first place? Rather the opposite happened, with Muslim religious chant and architecture obviously inheriting many characteristics from the eastern Christianity that ruled the places that are now “Islamic”.
Regarding the proof that prophet Muhammad was sent to all mankind:
He conveyed the Message of God for the biggest 3 Empires arround Arabia: Roman Empire, Persian Empire and Al-Habash in Africa
You ought not to use such examples on a Christian message board, my friend. The spread of Islam among the Habesha, for instance, reveals the Christian love and Charity of the Axumite king, not the truth of Muhammad’s supposed universiality.
"O people, verily, your Lord is One, and your father is one, all of you are from Adam and Adam (was created) from dust, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action
I may be wrong, but I think Booklover’s question was not whether Muhammad ever made such a statement, but why all these good ideas apply to Muslim interreligious relations only. I myself have read on here that some people who say that it actually applies to all mankind, but this would conflict with the expulsion, forced conversion, or murder of all non-Muslims from Arabia (no matter why any of us personally think it happened, I might add).

Lets Love One Another whatever is our whe should give peace to each other. Christians and Moslems are still God’s Children, All of us, whatever our race, our faith, our religion we are all from God. Please, dont be affected with the doctrines of our religions that may affect our relationships as Children of God. Our beloved Moslem Brothers and sisters, i am appealing to the who Islamic World, that please help the World to promote Peace. Please advice and teach our Moslem brothers to be a Peace Lover, I know that those who are in terrorist groups, they just misinterpreted the Quran. . . Lets Make this world as a world of the Kingdom of God in Heaven. Our Father, the Highest Father here on earth and in Heaven

Let’s not forget what happened to the Jews in Nazi Germany. I am sure most German people were great friends with the Jews, but when the Nazis started to gain power and institute anti-Jewish pogroms, very few Germans were willing to help their Jewish friends and neighbours. Some even turned in their former friends!

Tell me, is the allah of islam who inspires the us (muslims) versus them (anyone not muslim) mentality and who has no use for love and inspires the following sentiment in the minds of its slaves:

“So, I think the peace will be only after clearing the Earth from the jews,”
No, it is not Allah who inspired me this, it is the christians here who inspired me this one.

I quoted to them what Jesus PBUH said:

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”

then they said to me:
“Christ has to conquer a peace by overcoming the evil that is in the way of peace. Hence, to preach the gospel of purity and peace always arouses the opposition of the evil doer.
Evil has to be put down before peace can prevail.”

And since Jesus was jewish person and sent primarily for Israel as they said:

I wondered!

Did Jesus mean that Israeli people should fight non-Israeli ones and use the sword against them? or did he mean that his people should not expect that he came to them to put peace but a sword amoung them, themselves.

This is why he said “For I am come to set a man at variance against his father”

And this is of course because of their (the jews) crimes and disbelief and breaking all the covenants of God, not because Jesus was violents.

I ask Allah forgiveness if I did something wrong, and I apologize if you were a jew.

Allah loves you as long as you are good doer, if you change, He will give you chances, but if you refuse all that, you will be ignored and thus vanish, me too.

May Allah guide you to the Truth my brother.

I love and respect the free will of man. I struggled through nearly 1/2 a century of my life before the Lord graced me with conversion. My prayers will forever be with those who are still without the light. Understanding is a good thing, and peace is a good thing. I have nothing but love for my Islamic brothers and sisters. God is all merciful, and if those caught up in the heresy of Islam are truly without knowledge or understanding of Christ, then they may be considered in the category of invincibly ignorant at judgement. It is WAY above my paygrade to decide such things. I pass no judgement. So, peace be upon you, and may the Holy Spirit guide you to the loving heart of His son, our Savior, Jesus Christ in the fullness of time. I will continue to witness, as I can do no other thing. I’m a disciple of the Lord. But my witness is brought with love, and my wishes for peace among men are ernest.

Peace to you,

Steven
Peace to you, too.

May Allah guide you and me to His Grace.
  1. And Allâh calls to the home of peace and guides whom He wills to a Straight Path.
