Am So depressed!

I am praying almost 24/7 and am losing patience. My Jesus is not listening. I need help so badly.
Please pray for me.

Be assured that Jesus is listening to you. Sometimes, the answer to our prayers are no, yes, or not yet. Don’t give up hope and keep praying. Jesus loves you and is holding you so close to His Sacred Heart. It is in times of trouble that we turn to God and God uses that opportunity to shape and mold us into His image and way of thinking. The pruning that goes on is very painful. Rest in the Sacred Wounds of Our Lord.

You have my prayers and I will hope and pray that things will get better for you. It is okay to ask the Lord for some consolation.:hug1:
 
Jesus always listens - and be assured, if His answer is ‘no’ it is only because He has something better in mind for you than what you are asking for - you just don’t know it yet!
 
I’ve received many no’s from God. They can be so depressing and trying. Just like any good parent, God has to say no to His children for their own good. That doesn’t mean He enjoys it. In fact, it hurts Him even more than it hurts you. What parent doesn’t want to spoil their children and give them whatever their heart desires. But, He is willing to endure this terrible pain, in order to make your life the best it can be. That much happier and more peaceful. He also has your eternal happiness in mind. What’s a lifetime of suffering compared to eternal happiness with God?

But it’s tough to see that when you’re waiting in pain and sadness here below. And seemingly nothing can make the hurt go away. But it will, one day, in God’s special timing. The weeks and months and years can be very long and trying to us humans, so don’t loose hope cause it’s taking longer than you think it should. In the meantime, keep praying and going to church no matter how tough times get. And, maybe a priest or a Christian counselor could help you sort through some things too.
 
God always hears our prayers, so don’t lose hope. I am praying that he will lift you up from your depression and fill your heart with joy. :crossrc:
 
It is time to give up - and allow yourself to collapse into the Lord’s awaiting arms. The gracious and loving God has sustained you every moment of your life, and especially knows what you need now. The Lord will not burden you more with than you can carry, but He does allow you to overburden yourself, since it will bring you back to Him. You need rest, regeneration and a resurgence of faith and trust. Just be still and know that He is Lord. He loves you with an unfathomable love that will never be understood by man. He knows exactly what you need. Allow Him to provide it.

Merciful and Heavenly Father, You alone know jemsforty’s heart the best, having conceived of it form all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your Divine Plan. Be with this suffering soul at all times, providing a wonderful haven away from each and every care and concern of this world. Father, it is in times of turmoil that our faith is tested mightily. But, Lord, without testing, our faith does not endure, and lacks the strength to carry us through. Gracious and loving Lord, we thank and praise You for allowing these tests, as they are for the perfection of our souls. We are as gold being purified in fire. When You see Your Divine reflection in the molten metal, you withdraw it from the flames just when it is its purest. Grant us hearts to endure, minds to persevere, and souls to lend stability to our process of conversion. Remain with us to the end, as that is our ultimate test of worthiness for Your Kingdom. May the prayers of the Angels and Saints be joined with our own, creating an unending petition for mercy and healing grace upon jemsforty. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!.

I know it doesn’t feel like it, but our Lord Jesus is listening, and He does hear you - As St. Paul the Apostle said:

*…The Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words. And he who searches the hearts of men knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren. It isn’t coming out - NO How! NO Way! He isn’t forgetting you, and He isn’t forsaking you! NO How! NO Way!

NO matter how you feel.

St. James the Apostle wrote this to the Christians in Judea who were being chased from pillar to post during the persecution under Herod Agrippa:

Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, *for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. *
