America: What Did We Do Wrong?

And I don’t really want to watch an hour and a half long video.

You know, as a scientist, this is one of the most painful things for me to see on CAF.

In a different thread dealing with the Catholic Church’s teachings on brain death and organ transplants, I made the effort to find and post exhortations from Catholic popes and bishops, expert opinions from medical doctors and bioethicists. I also posted web links for those who wanted to read the original and full-length documents.

Then, somebody came on and said - “too long, I didn’t read it”.

But the same folks who find it too long to read it, too long to watch it, come on the forum arguing with those who have read it, have watched it, and have put in the intellectual effort to educate themselves. :banghead:

Anyway, nevermind.

I hope there are at least some folks out there who are not only interested in the truth, but also willing to put in some effort to find out the truth.

I’m just not entirely convinced that the Bush Administration was that diabolic in nature.

On a side note, you’re the 2nd person I’ve been in somewhat of a discussion with that has been banned today. Not a good sign for me!

And look what happened…the US has a crazy amount of taxes now, so the american revolution was kind of pointless, plus the British are just as FREE as someone in the US today, so it makes one wonder what good it all did.

For anyone seriously wanting an answer to this question, I highly recommend a book first published in 2001 entitled “Whatever Happened to America?” The author is Jon Christian Ryter. I believe he publishes under a pseudonym.

Great suggestion, Tigg…and a good read. I would include Animal Farm by George Orwell.

In an attempt to prove to ourselves, and the world, that we are not a racially prejudiced people…we elected THE most inept and unqualified person to ever occupy the White House. Then in a fit of masochism, we reelected him…we have been paying the price since the first term.
