I missed last week. I was excited about āQueenā week, but I think theyāll just do the same old songs everyone is familiar with like āWe are the Championsā. Iām kinda sick of that song since itās played in games and graduations constantly.

Noā¦ itās on ITV2 but I just have the basic 5 channels so I donāt get that; occasionally itās on Sunday morning about 11:30ish but thatās only when the motorbike races/Grand Prix etc. arenāt on, but theyāve been on for a few weeks now so Idol hasnāt been on.
People in the UK have always heaped praise on American Idol because you have always had excellent talent and the best person (or an extremely talented person, even if they arenāt THE best
) always wins, regardless of race or sex or age. That just doesnāt seem to be happening this year, with rubbish like Kellie, Ace, Buckyā¦

For the last 2 weeks I have predicted Bucky to get booted and I have been wrong. Maybe I should pick someone else to get booted and Bucky will finally go.Weāll have to wait and see how it goes tonight. I would really like Kellie, Paris, Bucky and Ace to go. Then we would have a show.

Theyāre doing Queen songs right now. Lord, help us. I am a HUGE QUEEN FAN! Freddie had the best voice ever put on this earth. I am of the firm belief that the only person who can pull-off a Freddie vocal effectively is Freddie-and, unfortunately, heās dead.
There have only been two songs so far, and both have been dismal. I have no hope for the rest of the show. What are these people thinking? If Freddie had a grave, heād be rolling over in it right now.

Okay, Iāve just watched all the contestants. With the exceptions of Taylor and Katherine, they all STUNK! It was atrocious, horrible, horrific, revolting and even embaressing! All the others deserve to go home after those performances!
And where was Simon in all this? He was actually telling almost all of them, except Taylor, that they were pretty good. Was he even listening to them? Did he leave the studio while they were singing? Iām so disappointed in Simon.

After Mandisa getting axed last week, which was a complete shock, I donāt know if I can predict anymore. Iām wondering if itās even a legitimate vote going on.
If it were up to me, I would have to say Bucky or Ace to go. But who knows what will happen.
I thought most everyone did ok this week, Queen is not easy, so most did better than I expected. Chrisā voice is killer, but he blew the song choice, I was dissappointed. He should have stood out as the one that couldnāt be beat. Iāve forgotten his song already, thatās not good.
Taylor, as usual, is the only one right now I could see myself paying for a ticket to see him perform, for an entire show. He just makes you want to move when heās on stage. He invites you into his performance. He may not be the most original, if thatās what Simon is looking for, but heās a great performer. He has my vote until the end.

I thought Elliott was the best tonight. I agree with Simon about Taylor, I think he said something like " I thought it was ridiculous." And that jumping & running around was a bit too much. Chrisās voice sounded too much like a sheep. Katherine was too loud. I didnāt like Parisās performance. Ace & Buckyā¦ well they were Ace & Bucky I actually thought Kellie did alright. Thatās my take on this evenings show.

I liked Taylorās performance best. I also liked Kellyās.
I was stunned by Parisās performance. I realize her voice is amazing, but she looked and sounded like she should be on a street corner. I kept thinking ātheyāve turned this little girl into a hardened prostitute.ā Although they cut Simon off real fast, I think he was about to comment about this.

I agree Aimee. I think they all improved. In fact it was the first time I sort ofā¦enjoyed Bucky.
Regarding Chrisā¦ After Simonās comment I thoughtā¦āgeez, the guy is danged if you do, danged if you donāt, ya know?āā¦
Meaning, the risk in doing a āpopularā recognizable Queen song is that you can come off as a copy cat. On the other hand you can try to be original. I donāt think it hurt him in the long run. And, I would have been SICK hearing Chris singā¦āWe will, we will ROCK YOU!!ā :nope:
I hated Kellie, but I admit my predjudice. I did like her comment about SIMON having an accent. LOLā¦
Everyone else did ok to good. None stood out to me.
Based on performance, I think Ace should go.
