Denver, Colo., Jul 3, 2016 / 03:37 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- In the year and a half since it opened, Bella Natural Women’s Care has served the needs of some 1,700 women in Denver.
And it has no intention of slowing down. By the end of 2016, Bella will begin providing services for families, and new clinics will open in Northeast Denver and Lafayette.
The expansion announcement was made at the health care center’s annual Summer Soirée on June 23.

What a blessing for the people of Denver!
From the article:
"Women are provided with linen instead of paper on their examination tables. A spacious waiting room reflects the at-home feel of a living room, complete with comfy couches, a cozy fireplace and toys for kids to play with. The walls are painted in warm tones, and there is a Chapel with the Blessed Sacrament and a statue of the pregnant Virgin Mother.

Though Bella is faith-based, Baertlein said she was surprised to see that a lot of Bella’s patients are not Catholic.

“I don’t know how they stumble upon Bella, but they find that they’re cared for well and that they’re loved there,” she said.

The clinic has had 8,800 encounters with women from all walks of life. Women are never refused care, as 36 percent of care is to non-insured or underinsured patients, and $62,000 of free care has been given to those in need."

God Bless them for their work. Let’s just hope that they are left alone by the ACLU and/or other progressive organizations and don’t get sued for not providing abortions or contraceptives.

Are women refused birth control if they wish to get it?
They say they are fully aligned with Church teaching. This is what is on their page for Gynecology:Natural Fertility Regulation
We are committed to promoting healthy living while affirming the dignity of all women. This includes a method of regulating fertility without the use of artificial contraception, the use of hormones, or permanent sterilization.
I do know that we are blessed that there are a number of Catholic providers in Denver that will not prescribe artificial contraceptives. Given that Bella offers abortion pill reversal and that they have a chapel on site I strongly suspect that they are faithful to following Church teaching regardless of what clients might demand.

Unfortunately they opened after we stopped teaching NFP so they weren’t on our list of Catholic health care providers that uphold Catholic moral teaching.

Why do you ask?

If one goes to any provider and requests a specific medication, or class of medications, it does not obligate the provider to comply.

Because it mentioned women are never refused care, but what if the women are not Catholic or Christian of any type?

Women are never refused care based on ability to pay.

The clinic offers specific set of services…if a woman wants services other than those offered then she has other choices in the Denver area.

Is there an issue with that?

We can re-take Catholic healthcare if we have the will
