No, NOT at all

What I [me personally here] do find confusing is HOW [I’m being very serious] any and all Protestants that collectively have thousands of differing churches; EACH with its OWN set of faith beliefs; and still hold to be HS inspired.

Really: What am I missing?

If you are sincerely asking like you say, then Patrick I would suggest you lay aside for a while all you claim to know within yourself and in complete surrender ask the Holy Spirit to show you. Peace.

Of course Jesus spoke these words right before the Holy Spirit came down upon the Apostles at Pentecost (Acts 1:8)
You can see quite a difference in the Apostles after Pentecost. They all ran away when Jesus was arrested, and Saint Peter denied Christ three times after his arrest. After Pentecost they were fearless.
This may well also refer to the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit that people receive at baptism.
I don’t see any problem with any of this, but perhaps I do not fully understand the question in the opening post.
 
Yes hearing from the spiritual is normal according to saint Paul.
1cor. 14:25-26.
When you come together bring a revelation. A hym. A psalm.
So that people know God is with you
 
I have the Protestant “Handbook of US Denominations” a book researched written and published by Protestants. They document only the identifiable established denominations, as attempting to catalog the multiplicity of corner-church “guns for hire” is impossible. They admit to 224 established denominations, with opposing beliefs all over the map. Some deny the trinity. The variation in beliefs in staggering - not anything like what our Lord founded and prayed for.

The common non-Catholic practice of “church shopping” is 180º opposed to Christ’s desire hat we be one, or His teaching that we must first deny ourselves, then take up our crosses, then follow him. The fact that such practice is common in no way makes it valid, licit, Christ-like or biblical.
 
Perhaps the most amazing thing about the multiplicity of Protestant churches; each with their own understanding and set of faith beliefs, reportedly based on the bible is the KILLING if “truth”, which can be nothing else than singular per defined issue. More than once I have been told; “I have MY truth, and you have your truth” which is logically %& Morally impossible.

Indeed! But, what did Paul preach about sound doctrine? See 1 Timothy and Titus on that. He traveled to Jerusalem to speak with Peter, James and others to ensure that he was preaching sound doctrine. We must all be on the same page - as Christ desires.
