Either I’m a Christian or I’m not. There’s nothing in the Bible to suggest any of this “Well, you’re kind of a Christian, but not really” malarkey.
No sir…there are degrees of faith mentioned in the Bible. The fullness of the faith is in the Catholic Church.

Really? Show me a Biblical example of somebody being half saved and half unsaved.
I see you are on again today, picking and choosing partial comments to respond to. What good is it that you get out of that?

Do you keep coming back because you are starting to realize all of the half truths you say or are you starting to learn about what is true about Catholic faith?

I didn’t say half saved, now did I? I said degrees of faith.

And when you answer Hellisreal’s question and document your allegations about what the Pope really said, then I’ll be happy to show you where the Bible talks about degrees of faith.

But the issue was saved or unsaved, not degrees of faith.
And when you answer Hellisreal’s question…
Actually, Hellisreal was so vitriolic and obnoxious that I put him on ignore. I have no way of knowing what he says or what attacks he’s making against me now.

He puts people on ignore when he does not know how to respond.

Yeah, I see that…I’m afraid I’m going to have to Titus 3:10 him. I don’t want anymore of my statements misrepresented.
I asked him to back up his claims about Holy Father and that makes me … I cant even recall what he said, but I think he wants to ignore the request I made to tell me where that puts him now, using bible back up.

I wish I was not on ignore. He would love the new thread I have in the Non Catholic forum on a bible study I saw a poster say he did. That poster is not a catholic, but I am looking for people who do care about the bible to weigh in.

He could have joined that thread, but I added no debate was allowed., so maybe not.🤷

He claimed the Pope said if a person was not Catholic that he was also not Christian. So I was offering him the chance to produce such a comment…otherwise I guess he could have just admitted he either made it up or got it from an unreliable source. Either way, his refusal to discuss in good faith resulted in my appeal to Titus. 🤷 He also said in another thread that only 1 person has treated him like a human being here. The gentleman could use our prayers.

Yes, and I dont even care what he called me. I was defending Holy Father.

And, asking him to provide scripture to support his ability to say things untrue over and over and over again.

That made me a “vitrolic” something or other.

🤷

But, he will have to answer for that to God.

Is it true that christians(non-catholics)don’t believe in angels and saints while they’re clearly described in the Holy Bible?
I am as catholic have experienced many miraculous events through my Patron Saints’ and Guardian Angel’s intercession. My life has been changing to the best since then spiritually.

Pax Christi!
All I can add to that is: Amen 👍

The presence of my Guardian Angel in my life is awesome.

I will one day have a heck of a lot of thanking to do. 🙂

It’s very common. Even your pope came out and declared us to be non-Christians.

I would also encourage you to look in to the Roman Catholic teaching of ex ecclesia nulla salas.

Piffle-poofle.
Pshaw.
Pfui!!!

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Go read something that was written by somebody who knows what they’re talking about, & then come back & you can apologize for  spreading a pack of farradiddles.

If I’m a Christian, then why do I need to take a class?
Let’s assume you are. Your posts show that several classes could do you a great deal of good. They could clear up many misperceptions you have about the Christian faith.

CDL

It also may help clear up for you, Mr Brosam, that pagans weren’t “the only” ones who wore “vestments” as you posted a couple of days ago (implying, in my view, that Catholics are pagans). A Bible class could show you “in the Bible” (as you require) where the priests, angels AND the Lamb Himself, wear vestments: Rev: 1:13, 4:4, 6:11, 7:9, 15:6, 19:13-14, to name a few…)

😉
