That would be fairly schizophrenic of them. As ConstantineTG said, how can you consider yourself to be in union with a group who you believe is heretical? It would be like the Catholic Church having a Calvinist religious congregation.
Anglicanism = schizophrenic. Look it up in the dictionary!
Use me as an example. I am in, for now, the REC. 39 Articles, Calvinistic…right. Well
not really. I don’t have to hold to the 39 articles, can reject calvinism and embrace catholicism. My Bishop is calvinistic, low church. He taught at a presbyterian seminary and was and is reformed in his theology. My deacon, who is in AMiA, holds to WO (except for Bishops) is charismatic with a touch of catholicism. Then there is me. CATHOLIC. The parish I serve…lets take the Eucharist. Members hold to memorial and are happy to have it once a month. Real presences with any personal interpetation of what that means with reception of one a month to weekly. One couple holds to the real body and blood but figuratively. Transubstantiation…only me.
Anglicanism loves to say they are a big tent church…they are right, you can believe anything you want…reject the resurrection or virgin birth (yes Anglican Bishops in good standing have done so in the past and now). Yes we are open minded, just so open minded that at times I think collectively our brains have fallen out.
Bishop Akerman has called WO heresy. So has Bishop Iker. So have all of my REC Bishops. It is wrong, not biblical, against tradition and reason. But what is that to communion. We Anglicans like our fudge!
