Big Trouble In Little China, one of the best movies ever made!!!
Anglicans have a different view of the Roman Catholic liturgy too in truth and the present state of affairs in Rome I assure you.OTOH, Roman Catholics have a different view of the matter.

That phrase “Catholic Church” has no real meaning. It is properly called the RomanRight, and they don’t call themselves Roman Catholics either!just “The Catholic Church”

While in agreement, at least in general, I do not follow your point.Anglicans have a different view of the Roman Catholic liturgy too in truth and the present state of affairs in Rome I assure you.
That phrase “Catholic Church” has no real meaning. It is properly called the Roman
Catholic Church to distinguish it from the rite in the Holy Catholic Church (Anglican Catholic Church).![]()

No, you’re wrong. And you are quite wrong. The Church is called The Catholic Church. Look it up anywhere you wish. Nowhere is it called the Roman Catholic Church. Roman or Latin is just a rite within the Catholic Church. Anglicans are not considered part of the Catholic Church by Catholics or Orthodox, only by themselves. No disrespect intended, it’s just a fact as to how they view themselves. There is no such thing as the Roman Catholic Church, just The Catholic Church![]()
No, you’re wrong.
Roman Catholics don’t get to set the ground rules. Know what you’re talking about before you subject everyone to your imagined obligatory ROMAN Church.
“No disrespect intended”… yeah sure. That’s what this site is all about. And you’re one of the primary offenders.
The only thing “The Catholic Church” means is “the universal church”… and your Roman church is most decidedly NOT that.
Dude - Gurney’s one of the primary offenders? Not a chance! Gurney’s one of the all-time cool guys around here, troll. No, you’re wrong.

The Anglican Use liturgy is such and has been around for about 30 years. Uses the Book of Divine Worship.Has there been an update on this? Is there now a valid Mass that can be celebrated in an Anglican manner, for the want of a better way of putting it.
The Anglican Use, which is derived (mainly) from the Episcopal 1979 Prayer Book, is used in RC Anglican Use parishes, in RC Anglican Use churches, by RC parishioners. It seems to me that this qualifies. So, as of now, there is no way that a Mass could be celebrated in a Catholic Church with Catholic parishioners using an Anglican form, is that right?
