You left off hats, suits and ties. Are you dressing up by 2014 standards or are you dressing by 1930 standards? No blue jeans unless you are farming, no shorts unless you are in your backyard or maybe on a picnic. No pajamas at the breakfast table (what can I say, I was raised by a woman who was raised properly in the '30’s). Don’t ever go out in the front yard unless fully dressed, not even for the paper or to take out the garbage. Sports shoes only for sports, otherwise nice leather shoes (shined, of course). No white after Labor day. This also meant putting your summer suits away. Most dark suits should be wool, so you will be warm.
The styles of the '30’s seem very dapper and romantic. But there were a lot of rules that you may not be aware of.
